What is with the hip-hop game now-a-days. The singles that float around on the tv and these radio stations make me wanna break my speakers where's that true lyrical guidance i was accustomed to growing up. I'm 21 years old and listened to old school hip-hop for as long as the smoked out brain cells can remember and hip-hop just aint what it used to be.

    Back to the old EM

I got this album from bestbuy yesterday, and I'm glad to see Em is back to his old self. There are 20 tracks on the album with like 4 or 5 skits, so really like 15 songs. I like pretty much the entire album. The only thing is the accent that he uses. I like the accent, it allows him to ryhme words that he could not ryhme in his regular voice, which make the lyrics better. Some people don't like the accent, but trust me, the music on this album is great, once you listen to it, the accent won't bother you because the music is undeniable. The accent only shows that is he trying to grow as an artist anyway. I definitely would say buy this album for anyone who is a fan of hip-hop or just a fan of good music, you don't even have to be a fan of eminem to like this album.

It was a good album... underground, Deja Vu, Beautiful, Stay Wide Awake, Must be the Ganja are my favorites so far with great lyrics and beats... Careful what you wish for (Bonus Track) is by far my favorite. A few of the songs went a little to far... insane and 3am just werent my favorite. Em is back, and for the most part, the album was great!

Ok, I have to start off by saying most current rap is completly GARBAGE! I am only 14, but I have a 21 yr old bro. I have grown up listening to true rap and hip-hop this new stuff disappoints me majorly. I had been googling eminem for the past couple years hoping against he would come back and then possibly tour. The of course 1 day i so this it was awesome. i have now downloaded every single possible off of iTunes and they are all great. Eminem has said himself though that Crack A Bottle will NOT be on Relpase since it was leaked. Also, he annouced that since him and dre have worked on so many songs their will be a 2nd new CD supposedly in winter of 09. Release date of that is not 100& accurate. I just gotta say i'm so happy that he is back nd their is now once again true good rap. This is will be one of the only CD's i will download from iTunes AND buy from bestbuy. Less than a week now, i can not wait. :D

Eminem: One Of The Greatest Emcees

IN MY OPINION: eminem has mastered his flow.. his punctuality, his witty punchlines..his ability to literally say whatever he wants and find a way to not only rhyme but do so in such an intricate manner. Throughout his albums there has been a constant improvement. even though encore was not my favorite album.. it still demonstrated his genious ability to make u laugh and still wonder how he manages to break syllables and construct some of the most advanced wordplay from any commercial artist. For those who disliked the album..i would presume that u could probably find a lame collection of elementary hip hop albums on their shelves.. This deserves to be recognized as one of the greatest Hip hop albums. Commercial & underground. hip hop is not dead.. this is evident in this album.

Its eminem! So what if he has been gone for 5 years. Re-up blew to me, the last album that was great from him to me was The Eminem Show. Yeah We Mad you is a little corny. But so what if you can get paid millinos for a corny song here and there then do it. Eminem is still a stud!!

    The Original EMINEM is Back!

This album may not be better than Marshall Mathers LP, but it is definitely WAY better than Eminem Show or Encore. Eminem goes back to his old style of rapping about his dark thoughts, and the album flows together very nice, kinda like a movie. Of of the best Intros I've heard since Nas's Stillmatic, and the last track sets you up for Relapse 2. Don't let Crack a Bottle, and We Made You turn you away from the album, those are the worst songs on the album, everything is Top Notch Slim Shady! BUY IT

    Great Album, SS LP+MM LP+Eminem Show= Relapse

Anyone who didn't like CD must not really be an Eminem fan, I was pretty disappointed by Encore, it has some great songs but most of them were lackluster. This album is great, I was worried when I saw the music video " We Made you" because I really didn't like the song that much. Then I saw the 3 am video and was still unimpressed. After getting the CD, I like pretty much every song on it. His lyrics/rhyming is pretty amazing, He is just stringing together some insane lyrics. At the moment my favorite song on the CD is Beautiful, its the classic slow paced/ more serious song on the album. Its been along time since I have heard good story telling in a rap album, and I am glad Em brought it back. Can't wait for Relapse 2,

Its great he's back but its not as good as his past albums.Though, this albums contains my most favorite tracks from him: 3 am, My mom, Insane, deja vu,Beatiful, and Underground. It would of been better if he didn't used his weird accent in the rest of his tracks.

People who dont like eminem's first 3 albums(infin, slim lp,marsh lp)prob wont like this one that much, this is a slim shady album its crazy even though it has a little bit of everything in its mostly crazy, Alot of people wanted real eminem album like the eminem show but this is real eminem somewhat this is what got him to where he is now, lyrics are amazing and show his struggle through the last 4 years with pills.Best song is def Underground/ken you can feel the hate and it would fit in perfect with the slim shady lp and prob marshall mathers lp.I never thought i would say this again after the marsh lp but buy this album if you like crazy eminem and not if you have weak heart.

    I'm Having A Relapse

This album is like "The Slim Shady LP" but with an accent. He goes on the attack on celebs and hard drugs. On "3 a.m. he brings out his inner Marilyn Manson. And on "Same Song And Dance" Em makes you move while talking about kidnapping Lindsay Lohan, and sharing pills with Britney Spears. It just seems like this album is afraid to move into a different direction. This album is better than Encore, but as far as "The Eminem Show"and "Marshall Mathers LP" it just doesn't equal up.Maybe "Relapse 2 " will be better.

    Eminem is Finally Back

After a four year leave Slim Shady is back. This album is his most controversial and darkest yet. He wastes no time explaining what his life has been during the time he's been gone, drugs and more drugs. Many of the tracks are deeply personal and show how he really feels about the decisions he's made. Yet theirs also this crazy serial killer vibe going on through a few of the tracks that I just can't figure out yet. Whatever it is.... controversy will soon follow. Check out the last track Underground for some of the best rapping eminem has ever done. If you're a fan of rap music, just order it already.

Bought album! My own personal take on it: What Em say concern these which be wicked behind scenes. As in, they could be family members kicking up poisonous dust to faces or putting drugs in food. Plus, Em describs: Bush, the 43rd former president, got diced up back in Dec.; Obama never made it to be 44th president since he got food poisoned back when on a HI vacation; How Obama enter in/Bush leave out White House thing was all an advanced done gig; How the devils or fake saints come into White House being next of the Kennedy family. Prophecy encoded by the dual tone. Buy the album!!!

    Classic Em

This is classic Eminem. He is simply a lyricist. If you listen to his lyrics, they are amazing and he makes words rhymes that you don't even think can rhyme. In today's world, most rap albums feature many artists in order for their album to sell. Eminem only has Dr. Dre and 50 on his album. My favorite song is Deja Vu, because it tells a story and the lyrics are ridiculous. I definitely recommend this album to anyone who likes hip-hop.

its a pretty decent album but its not as good as icps tempest album or the great milenko or the riddle box or the opaque brotherhood or tales from the lotus pod revised or black rain or the amazing jeckel brothers or the ringmaster or carnival of carnage eminem can never hold up a light to either icp or dark lotus icp are most underrated rap artists in the rap and hip hop music business eminem sort of went downhill when he released encore relapse is going to be a pretty sick album but its still not as good as icp or dark lotus

This ain't gonna be a lil wayne cd where a few tracks are hot. This whole album is gonna be hot. Em has been quiet for 5 years! (I count his last full album Encore) This is gonna be the CD of 2009! I am gonna RIP this and upload it to MediaFire, drop.io, Share1t, Ziddu, RapidShare, and so many others! I CAN'T FREAKING WAIT until May 19th. JUST A HEADS UP! I pre ordered Disturbed's Album last year (Indestructible) and it came in the mail the day before it was sold in stores! So hopefully I will get this May 18th!

Eminem's 5th CD Lives up to Hype!

The track "We Made You" is funny, but not one of his best beats. "3AM" has a great beat, and "Beautiful" has it all. Great Song!! His first single "Crack a Bottle" is another great party song. Eminem and Dr Dre are probably the best one-two punch for hip-hop talent. With Em's lyrics and delivery over Dre's beats, it's hard to find a song that is not addictively listenable. This CD is more than worth the purchase. Now I can't wait for Relapse 2 to hit the shelves!

I don't know where to start. Not to often do you get a CD that is start to finish worth listening to. They are very rare. Most of the time you purchase a CD, pick out up to 8 tracks of the 12 or so, that you consistantly listen to. Replapse feels like a greatest hits compilation. Everything is there: his mom, christopher reeves, hollywood idiots. This is Eminem at his best. If he isn't at the top of everyone's best rapper list, this CD just put him there.
