Excellent for e-ink

My use case is primarily for note taking and organization of notes. The sync app works perfectly on iPhone so backing up and moving documents via the mobile app is seamless. If you’re looking for lots of apps and functionality, this is not the device for you, but if you are looking for a tablet to use for notes, organizing, PDF review, this is second to none.

Saved an absurd amount of paper using this thing and don’t have scratch sheets all over the place. Takes some time getting use to the feel of using a tablet like this but work the growing pains. Highly recommended taking the plunge and purchasing this if you’re trying to get organized.

Nice device

It takes a little getting used to but it seems to be going what I wanted it to do which was take notes primarily but also read. I have to say reading on this is better than expected, I never knew how much more reading I could get accomplished without texts, emails and notifications.

Disappointed, slow performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted to like this, and was ready for slow refreshes.. but i was very disappointed in the overall performance otherwise. I was reading an art/sketching pdf and a significant portion of the art(pencil sketch lines) was not being displayed on the screen, even after playing around the contrast options. Swiping was also hit or miss, it works sometimes and then it doesn't, I expected a lot more for something that is almost $800. Even black and white text didn't look too great at the kinda lower ppi; I will return this and wait for a competitor to release a larger kaleido 3 variant.

Amazing speed and accuracy with hand written notes. It really IS like writing on paper, but the bonus is the organization it provides. 10/10 would buy this again.

An upgrade from the Remarkable 2

It also seems to refresh faster than the Remarkable 2. The Remarkable 2 is great, this is just an upgrade if you need the bigger screen or if color is important to you.

The pen glides across the screen effortlessly and it feels great to write. And you can access the notes on any device you have. Its very convenient.
