I looked at the previous Remarkable without committing and when the color one came, I did not hesitate long. Unfortunately, I am disappointed. I was not expecting the brightness of the iPad, but I was expecting its reactivity. Reading a PDF is slow, the colors are quasi inexistant, and when you use them, it flickers. In notes, when you zoom in and erase, it is not very precise, as it seems that the size of the eraser grows with the zoom. There are some great things: the notes are accessible in a vector format, making them easily scale, you can sync with Dropbox… Maybe with the next generation of color screens?

I've been using this thing every day for weeks now and can't see myself ever not using it. It's great for journaling, daily/monthly planning, and reading larger PDFs. Highly recommend you try it out if you're on the fence.
