This thing is amazing!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow- no more notebooks all over the place- no more distractions while typing or writing. This thing is amazing. The accompanying app is easy to use. I was on the fence about black and white or color- but I love taking notes in my iPad so I knew color was for me. A little heavier and bigger, but still excellent.

Love it!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I personally am a iPad person and love and use mine all the time. I Got this for my wife, she absolutely loves this device and takes it with her EVERYWHERE, and uses it alllll the time. It’s a different kind of device and not like an iPad at all. It’s strictly focused towards writing/taking notes and organization with no other distractions. The conversion from written to typed it’s so accurate and impressive. She writes in cursive and it is able to translate it almost perfectly everytime. The battery is actually impressive and keeps a charge for days!! All in all she has never been happier and never has to purchase another notebook again for her and what she does I definitely rate it a 10 out of 10

Great battery life, limited drawing tools
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s tough to replace a notepad, this does have the right feel, accurate drawing capabilities, limited color options, and quite sluggish feel to the interface. It’s better than the amazon paper, and probably anything out there. I would like to see more integrations, basic apps for books, and alternatives for drawing. The drawing is quite limited, only a few colors, zoom works, you can cut and paste, rearrange pages. Overall good product, but replacing paper pads is difficult.

Great device for busy individuals and note takers
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Didn't know I needed something like this until I had it. Feels great to write on and replaced the stack of sticky notes and dry erase board on my desk. Distraction free really is a huge benefit when paired with the awesome calendar templates that are available via reddit or github. If you have a million irons in the fire between work and personal life but can't use the notes app on your phone this device could really help in a way your cellphone just can't

Saved so many trees!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A M A Z I N G!!! It is truly an amazing product that right away brought an amazing ease to my daily work routine, reduced my anxieties (Yes, you read that correctly!) of constantly loosing papers, missing notes from a meeting or trying to figure out where I left the note with the very important phone number of a vendor. Truly reMarkable (I had to do this :) and probably one of the best Xmas gifts I've ever received. Not to mention, that I've probably saved hundreds of trees being shredded into paper, because I don't use paper ANYMORE!

Overpriced minimal functionality
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Remarkable has done something quite clever. They have managed to use a marketing campaign touting a "distraction free" device. The build quality is premium don't get me wrong but the internals are low spec for the price. This however does not matter as there is very little functionality here. It's essentialy a eink notebook and that's it. You can't even change the sleep screen although on eink devices it uses no power to display a picture on it while it's asleep. This would be far too distracting of course. Reading books? Also too distracting! In the event you have a drm free epub or pdf you can import it. If the pdf is large it will take forever to load to the point you might think it's frozen. The case is 179$ , it's a basic thin leather case but again it's remarkable one of a kind distraction free ecosystem. The price of the case was distracting to me I have a admit. Writing is fine I have a boox go 10.3 as well which feels similar and has more clarity due to no color or front light though. Boox has a more powerful processor and more memory and can run android apps "distraction alert!". It's extremely thin and light compared with the remarkable but the pen is cheap feeling by comparison. Colors are nice on remarkable but I only use it for work and since it's such a pain to find a distracting illustration ridden drm free ebook it makes no difference. Best buy may want to rethink placing this near the kindle scribe which I also own as some people may assume they can easily read books on here too. If you are a kindle reader you probably should go with the scribe. It's all well made device with basic note taking functionality, the company was very clever in their distraction free marketing as they do not have to add any improvements apparently. Oh and they want you to subscribe to a monthly remarkable sync plan of sorts. If you are in the market check out the boox devices and scribe.

We hear your frustration, and it's clear our minimalist, distraction-free approach didn't align with your expectations for the price and overall functionality. There is a reason why they named it like that. I am a author, and finally I Have an product I can focused when I write, no distraction, just perfect. I only wish, the color blue would be more vibrant, because writing witht he color blue is importend for your braqin.

Almost the most perfect notebook !
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OK almost the most perfect notebook in the world and the drawback isn’t what you think. I want to be able to read my kindle books on it (yes I know ifa not a kindle) or other ebooks it’s just it’s hard to get books loaded on it. It does crash. But as a notebook it’s great really great I dont need to carry notebooks on notebooks anymore. I absolutely recommend

My work best friend
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its sooo easy and efficient to just carry this and my laptop. Over the years Ive sooo many notebooks. Now I can group my thoughts, put them in folders, even send them to myself and pull it up on my phone if I need it. Its exactly what I needed.

Great little purpose built device
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall I adore my new Remarkable notebook. I've only had it a couple of weeks now and I've done so much with it. I've used it for work notes, for taking notes on houses while looking around home during my house hunting, play Logic puzzles, taking notes while playing Oblivion Remastered, and more. I love that it is so well built for its sole purpose of being a notebook. My only 3 nitpicks would be that: 1. Sometimes the screen doesn't react when I am trying to do. Pinch zoom in/out or when I swipe to switch pages. So I sit there fighting to do those things or going into the page menu to manually pick the page. 2. You can't use any other keyboard with it than it's expensive Type Folio because no Bluetooth. 3. I wish it was easier to add images to documents. I wouldnt mind having to upload pics individually and then add them but you can't. You have to move the doc back to your computer, add the image, and then move it back to the Remarkable. Then the image is stuck and you can't move it at all. For context, I skipped rating Durability. I'm not sure how durable it is since I haven't had it long and I am super careful with it because it did cost a decent bit. Especially since I got the Type Folio.

It's okay... but at this price just buy an iPad.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this after using my iPad Pro with a Paperlike screen protector looking for something that felt a little better. The feel is great. The battery is great. The software is very limiting. The pen often gets slightly off where you intend to write. I'm also not a fan of limiting the software behind a subscription with how expensive this product it. Nearly the cost of an iPad... but nowhere near the functionality.

Goodbye paper
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my temarkable paper pro, it feels just like writing in a notrbook but i never run out of paper. I would chose this over an ipad becsue it keeps distractions to a minimum. Its hard to play or answer a text when you dont have the option to do so.

A Game Changer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this! It is a game changer for me because I prefer writing vs typing notes, etc., for work. It syncs with Google and allows me to organize my information in folders. The highlighting feature is wonderful for use with articles and information I read.

Great idea - poor execution
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved the IDEA of the reMarkable tablet but, quickly found out it’s not for me. Cost-wise when you consider the subscription required to actually be able to transfer and access notes across devices - it’s as much if not more than a full functionality tablet. Although it says you can read PDFs and e-books they both look terrible on the screen. The tablet is also not very intuitive or user-friendly. Seemed like a lot of steps to organize different pages.
