Resident Evil 2 (RE2) looks and plays fantastically! I've played the original RE 2 on the first PlayStation, and this remake lives up to the original. Great graphics! that brings out all the terror on your screen with horrific detail. As well, the game runs very well! The sound and voice actors really helps you get immerse in the game. I was surprised, in how well made this game is. Just be warned, don't play it in the dark....it's more scarier!

This game has outstanding graphics. The story is very compelling and immersive. I love this remake the most compared to the past remakes.

I played the original and this one offers a lot of nostalgia and brings a lot of new game play and story to make itself unique on its own.

I've only tried out a few RE games thoughout gaming history. I've never played the original RE2 but heard good things. But I really got into this one. I played and completed the game with Leon, then again with Claire, both on the normal difficulty. The game doesn't have the infamous tank controls but rather an over-the-shoulder 3rd person perspective. I've never had trouble with the controls even though I'm bad at aiming in any game. I highly recommend this game to all PS4 owners

This is a fantastic game! The graphics are amazing, the sotory is great, and has that heart racing vibe. Truly amazing horror game

As a Resident Evil fan this remake brought me back to how I remember RE. Finally they returned to what made the franchise so popular.

My first RE game was 7 so when this got remade I figured why not. This game is incredible. The only gripes I have is by the end things get a little over the top and some of the dialogue is super corny but as far as the gameplay and atmosphere is amazing.

This game is exciting from the start to finish. The graphics is amazing and so is the story line and game okay.

Capcom brought back Resident Evil 2 and gave it the gameplay of Resident Evil 4. If you like the gameplay of Resident Evil 4 you will enjoy this! If you wish they'd go back to the older gameplay from the originals you might want to give this a pass. A good game for Third Person Shooter or Horror fans too!

I always wanted to get into the series, but this is the one which has grabbed me. Controls, graphics, and camera are top notch.

What else can I say about this game that everyone has already said is the best Resident Evil in years? The graphics are amazing, the tension is good, the "old school" feel with a new shine is definitely there, and replayability is deep. With Resident Evil 7, Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry 5, Monster Hunter World, and more to come, Capcom is certainly on a roll and seems to understand the pulse of modern gamers looking for engaging single-player and co-op adventures. RE2 is HIGHLY recommended.

A great reimagining of a classic. One of the better resident evil games in the last few years.

I am a fan of the Resident Evil series. I have played every main game excluding umbrella chronicles and any other arcade shooters. Resident Evil 1-7 I have played each at least 3 times (RE4 I have played at least 30 times and can speedrun it and can also speedrun RE7) The point of this review is to tell you that even if you only casually like the RE series you will genuinely enjoy this game. It bring RE back to its roots (even though it is 3rd person) and will scare you, guaranteed.
