Went to Best Buy looking to buy Resident Evil Revelations 1 and 2 collection. However one of the Best Buy's employees by the name of Kareem approaches me and convinces me how good RE2 is as he already beats the game multiple times. I was sold and bought it for myself. However, he's wrong. This game isn't just good. This game is GREAT! The Graphics, designs, music, and the overall ambience of this game is perfect. So kuddos to you Kareem!

Honestly I didn’t like this game when I played the original back 20 years ago. This game was honestly a lot of fun. I scare easily during thrillers so I screamed a lot playing this game and honestly had a ton of moments where my heart was beating excessively fast and my adrenaline was spiking. I even platinumed the game, so if that tells you anything it’s that I really liked this game.

The Best Resident Evil Remake and Game Ever! Great gameplay, graphis, story, gore and control. 12 of 10!

This is a worthy remake of my favorite game of all time, Resident Evil 2. While I do miss the creepy camera angles and tank controls of the original, this updated version has significantly better graphics, a third-person over-the-shoulder control scheme reminiscent of every RE game since Resident Evil 4, and is packed with enough nostalgic moments and characters to bring the player back to 1998. Well done, Capcom!

Resident Evil 2 Remake is a great game. It takes the old mechanics of the original and upgrades it to a more modern style of gaming with the move and shoot. The game is difficult and still has horror atmosphere as the original. The game can be tough at times since ammo is not plentiful and you have to choose which monsters you want to kill. If you loved the original and a fan of RE, then this is a game for you.

This game is a perfect remake of the original. Overhauled with modern controls and visuals

An all time classic game gets remade into an all time classic game. Both the original and this update are great and unique. This story should be remade and reinterpreted continuously similar to stories such as Batman, Sonic or other pop culture. Technically, the game is brilliant and one of the highlights of the console lifespan. The sound design is awesome. A great remake that is worthy of being remade.

Another great Resident Evil game , remaster did well

This after all these years is still one of my favorite RE games. Its nice that they took one of the best old ones and not just re-released it with an HD updates, but actually rebuilt the entire game. It went out of stock on BF sale, but came back around later at the same sale price so finally picked it up. This and IV remain my personal favorites so would love to see them give this treatment to a 4 redo.

The game relives the nightmares of the original with better graphics, great story and hours of fun.

If you played the original Resident Evil 2 then you'll have an idea of what this game is all about but you'll be wrong if you think it is the same game. Frist of all the game plays completely different, gone is the tank control and in is the new 3rd person play style used on previous resident evil titles. The entire game has been redesigned with new areas to visit. Highly recommended.

This game truly brings me back to my childhood day. Resident evil has been one of my favorite games but resident evil 2 is the best out of the series. Once they announced a remake almost 2 years ago I have been waiting until the day this was released. The newer RE games just don’t cut it like RE1 & RE2. This game is true survivor horror game and brings the nostalgia back to me with the creepy corridors and intense jump scare.

Excellent remake of a PS classic. The graphics, over-the-shoulder view point, gameplay, performance capture, and voice acting have been gloriously updated, which make it feel like not only a different game compared to the original, but a significantly better one.

My favorite game of all time. The original (1998) changed my life forever. The remake its not perfect compared to the original one... but still a solid 10 for a Resident Evil game, keep in mind that this Remake won 2019 game of the year award... So If you have not played this game before and you are a survival horror lover, this game is an absolutely MUST HAVE!

I didn't play much of the original as I was just a kid. But I remember watching friends and older brothers play it. Capcom did a great job bringing something old school and putting a fresh spin on it! The graphics look amazing from the rain all the way to the facial expressions. Movement is fluid and the refined inventory mechanic is way better that the original. I look forward to the next reamke installments.

This should be 2019s game of the year. It is an amazing remake. Capcom really cared for this game by remaking all aspects and updating it for people today. If you enjoyed the original re2 you will love this and will find some of the changes that they made have improved the game and make it feel lile a new unique experience, while still staying the same game as the original. This is a MUST buy.

Wow. This is one heck of a horror. Graphics are A+(S). Movement of protagonists and Zombies are great. Sounds of all are creepy and terrifying. Lickers seem like a much more realistic way to navagate around. All the puzzles and parts/pieces to find within the horror is great. Having Mr. X follow you around, after a certain point, makes you plan your routes more when navigating throughout the station. Great, Great game.

Great game! Always fun to play Resident Evil. They did a great job with the re-make
