Amazing remake, was a bit skeptical at first with the change of camera but oh man it's an amazing game from the story to the graphics.

this is just amazing. using the re7 engine with amazing graphics and story and gameplay. cant wait to play more times

Great remake to a great classic I played the first hour and I was amazed at the mechanics of gameplay compared to the old one and also the Beautiful HDR coming through with the PS4 Pro a lot of scares already I can't wait to finish this game up when I get a chance too. It's definitely worth the money and time to play a remake classic like this one that changed the whole way we look at RPGs!

Bought it for my boyfriend. He's been a resident evil fan since the beginning. Watching him play this is equally entertaining and frightening. The graphics look amazing and gameplay is just as enjoyable as the original if not more. If you're a RE fan, or horror game fan, this is a must have.

This is how a remake is done. Very faithful to the original game while sprinkling in its own modern gameplay mechanics and (massive) visual enhancements. Gripping from start to finish, with truly horrifying encounters with the denizens that await you within RPD. Highly recommended.

If you grew up adoring Resident Evil 2 for the PSX, then stop now and grab the 2019 remake. It's a fantastic re-imagining that brings the old systems and ideas to life with a post-RE4 approach to controls, combat, and overall perspective. In short, another return to form for Capcom.

RE 2 is a great addition to the series for long term fans of the series. The combat mechanics are more smooth than previous games and the updated graphics are amazing to look at. This game is a long one so far and its not easy.

This is how a game should be remade for 4k hdr tvs. I wish they did that with hitman hd collection. Still the same story but improved graphics and gameplay. A great blast from the past with modernism this game is beautiful.

I played the original Resident Evil 2 back in the day lots of times and it's my third best RE game ever. This game is so much improved it's mindblowing. Great graphics, added storyline gameplay and better playing mechanics.

This game is so fun. The voice acting is amazing and the graphics are really nice. The gameplay is challenging and fun . If you liked the old resident evil games 1-3 you’ll love this.

I actually have never played the original RE2, but playing the remake got me SHOOK. I would definitely purchase RE3 if there will be a remake for that too. Pro Tip: CONSERVE AMMO

Had to grab the remake of the best R.E. game ever made. Capcom did a great job with this and you won't regret picking it up if you're even remotely a fan of the original.

Never played the original, but this is a very good game on the PS4 Pro. My problem is that Claire’s scenario isn’t that different from Leon’s, on both scenario’s A and B. That’s why I can’t give it 4 stars. Had a few frame drops on the PS4 Pro, but it's reliably 1080p at 60fps. I suggest playing it with your headset on – terrific sound design! Graphics are excellent, too!

Brings back k the old feeling of how Resident Evil should be.. Classic games should a k ways keep original foyndatipns on what made it unique.

These are some of the best graphics I've seen yet on the PS4 Pro, and excellent HDR performance. Awesome throwback game, modernized for today.
