Wow, incredible remake and much better then original! Must buy for any RE fan!

This is better than the original & I'm an old-school RE fan since 99. this remake is darker & serious & this what we needed after the series went into action with RE 4' 5&6 the series was starting going in the wrong direction survival horror was gone until REVII saved it & now we gotten another one thank you capcom for listening to the fanbase

The original RE2 was the first survivor horror game that I played and I was blown away at the time. I kind of scoffed at first at the notion of paying full price for a "remake" of a game that is 20 years old. I'm glad that I rented it and found that it was well worth the price of admission. This is a great reimaging of a classic and a blast to play. A truly terrifying and adrenaline fueled experience.

I played the original when i was much younger. I knew all the ins and outs of it, I looked forward to this and was afraid of what it might become. Picking it up was not a mistake, this took the old game I knew, polished it, made it a whole new experience. I am so glad this game exists and hope that we see more remasters in this manner. I love the changes they made and think it's worth full price any day.

I've always been a fan of the Resident Evil franchise, so normally I was excited about this remake. I was completely surprised on how well this remake is made that it truly does feel like a new game rather than a remake and Mr. X definitely makes the game either just as good or better due to the A.I. I would highly recommend this game to any horror or RPG player for sure. You will no be disappointed.

The original Resident Evil 2 was one of my favorite games when it was released years ago, so this remake had big shoes to fill and I'm glad to say it doesn't disappoint. The graphics are amazing and taking out zombies and other horrific creatures has never been so satisfying. Mr. X chasing you around will definitely get your heart pumping as well. This is definitely a Game of the Year contender.

although it is a remastered game that came out for ps1 it is a great title that is worth playing on your ps4 it has very good graphics and excellent music has many extra things that hold this title much better than the original one that was played on ps1 if you want to have a buy good experience when playing a game of horror and suspense I recommend it

This version of Resident Evil 2 is even better the original Playstation 1 version. All the elements of survival horror have carried over to this new version. The visuals and sounds are miles ahead of the original version. The game length is maybe 5 hours long. It has some unlockables that add to the fun of the game.

I loved it. Resident Evil 2 influenced the way i will live for the rest of my life and not in just some haphazard way. Capcom has really done it with this amazing masterpiece and have gained themselves the title of King of Remakes!! This game is absolutely what I could've asked for. It has got RE4's view that actually fits perfectly! This game is a must play for everybody!!

A mystery within a mystery capturing the haunting visials of horror and suspense in each moment of gameplay. A huge improvement over the original version on the playstation, i was captivated from the moment I started the game. I cant wsit for the next chapter to be remade.. the visuals are absolutely beautiful and haunting... you wont regret this purchase 5 stars for this game

I've been out of the survival horror genre for years, but RE2 has brought me back. It has enjoyable difficulty, plenty of replayability (4 playthroughs to complete the main 4 scenarios), game looks beautiful, too. Getting magnet grabbed by zombies can sometimes be incredibly annoying, but it doesnt detract from the wonderful experience youll probably have with Resident Evil 2
