Excellent remake of an original Playstation classic. Besides the awesome boost in graphics the use of atmospheric lighting by use of your flashlight gives this version a whole new edge of your seat thrill ride. Whether you experienced RE2 when it was originally released or not you owe it to yourself to revisit Racoon City and attempt to make it out alive.

This is a fantastic remake. Free ps5 upgrade path as well.

What can I say? It's a remake of a classic and it is AWESOME! If you grew up on Resident Evil and enjoyed the older games, you won't be disappointed. It's scary, fun, frustrating...everything that you've grown to love about the series. It's also pretty cool that the first DLC was just released and it's free! So go grab yourself this game, turn off all the lights, and dive in!

Amazing remake with modern controls and great scary atmosphere.

This is a must buy. It's a remake of the old PS1 version with enough similarities to remind you of the old game but enough changes to make it a new game. The game play is like RE4, over the shoulder view. The lighting is amazing as well as the overall visuals of the game. There's enough 2nd run options and unlockables to make it well worth your money. Highly recommended.

This is better than the original & I'm an old school RE fan since 1997 . This remake is darker & serious & this what we needed after the series went into action with RE 4' 5 & 6 the series. This series was starting going into the wrong direction survival horror was gone until REVII saved it & now we got another one to thank you Capcom for listening to the fanbase.

It's been a long time since I played the original so to me it's like playing it for the first time. The make over is very welcomed. Nicer graphics is at the top of the list for the remake. Game play is improved also. Fans of RE have a winner and I'm sure Capcom sold a ton of them. They did such a good job that I know they will revisit other versions of the game.

Easily the best survival horror game ever made. It takes the original, which was already incredible, and makes it even better. Is actually scary unlike most games of the sort. I definitely recommend setting up the darkness as the game suggests, turning off the lights, closing the blinds, and put on a good pair of headphones!

Resident Evil 2 on PlayStation in 1998 was one of the most enjoyable survival-horror games ever released. The remake continues that tradition and improves on all the aspects that made it great and the result is what could be the best Resident Evil ever made. It may even be the best horror title ever made just going by the sheer level of craftsmanship and detail.

I just bought this game a month or so ago. For someone who doesn't like horror games or ever played and resident evil games, RE2 blew me away. I got this game as a throw in to get a discount on something else. Probably one of the best and fun games I played over the last year. Well worth the buy now.

This game is simply amazing. Survival horror at its best. The RE Engine does wonders and it definitely shows. Great story, intense and nerve racking moments. The game has great replayability with the Leon and Claire playthrough. It also has 3 additional short playthrough with some of the survivors of racoon city. A DEFINITE BUY!

It’s pretty good. Different from the original. Almost feels like a brand new game based on the same overall story. Had a blast with this and I cannot wait to get to play the remake of the third game. I would recommend this to anyone that loves horror and especially fans of the original resident evil games.
