Scary atmosphere, really anxiety inducing. Great remaster.

Playing an old game completely redone from the ground up using modern day technology has made this game a blast while minimizing the gaming hiccups from the old development from 20 years ago. The game is a bit on the short side as the Leon and Claire story lines are similar. Overall the game is a fun kick back to classic resident evil

I never played the original RE2, but you don't need to in order to enjoy this modernized update. It feels like a new game because it was rebuilt from the ground up; the graphics are great, the mechanics are modern, and everything feels fresh. It's tense the whole game, too, showing how well the original horror concept has aged.

The graphical enhancements really make this title shine. Some things and level have been changed or re-arranged to make what was familiar seem.....fresh. Can we Get RE III nemesis remade already? With the recent refresh/reboot of the Jurassic Park franchise, maybe .....Dino Crisis could receive this same treatment? Just an Idea.

Great remake of an already great game. Capcom really outdid themselves on this one, took an old time classic modernized it all the while keeping the soul of RE2 intact. This is how remakes should be approached give us the same game but not the same game with all the polish allowed

I played the original resident evil 2 on the original PlayStation way back when. I could never go back to playing the old one after playing this. This new version which isn't just an upgraded paint job is phenomenal Omg. Scare tactics are in abundance and I play it on the ps4 pro. Do not hesitate to play this game. It's a must have

When I first played this game it was on the Nintendo gamecube. So I was very excited when it was coming out on the ps4. So far this game does not disappoint. This is one of the best remakes that I played. The music, graphics and gameplay are amazing. I am so happy that they didn't rush this game out. Well worth the money.

The orginal R.E. 2 was one of my all time favs, so I knew unless they really botched this up I'd be a fan. Not only is the game as fun as the original, theres more suspense, scares and enough things different from the orginal to make it fresh but familiar. Cant wait to be it 4 different ways like the orginal for all the endings!

One of the best games ever made gets a full remake for modern console and succeeds on almost every level. Amazing graphics and tense gameplay make it a new horror classic. The only down point is the Zapping system from the original isn't implemented as well but this won't bother most people. Highly Recommended

I love this game. The graphics are great and just remembering how great this game was, It was a must have for me. To be honest, for me Resident Evil 4 was the best of the bunch,but this game is a very close 2nd. If you loved it back in the day, you will love it even more now.

Thus is definitely how to remake a game. I was a huge fan of the 1998 version but this takes the game to a whole new level. The graphics are very detailed. The blood and gore look very realistic. They even changed a few things around so it's not the exact same game. If you're a fan of RE games, this should be in your library!!

I was very impressed with this remake. This was MUCH better than the remake for RE1. The game play still had the original zombie/horror combination feel while adding some more modern things for better game play (for example, walking through doors did not require a cut scene each time). Very nice addition to the RE family.

Resident Evil 2 is an excellent horror experience that pays great respect to the title it is remaking. It is incredibly atmospheric, intense, and environmentally detailed. It is paced very well and provides a deeply satisfying moment to moment gameplay. Fans of the original and newcomers can easily find enjoyment out of it.

What can I say that hasnt been said before, this is a great remake. Not only a great remake that surpasses the original but this is a great game on its own. Scenario B was kind of a let down and MR X is overexposed but the game is amazing. Must buy for any Resident Evil fan and/or video game fan.
