I played the 1998 Resident Evil 2 21 years ago on PlayStation. It was a great game that I still remembered to this day. This remake takes that old game and dips it in a vat of steroids, then grabs it by the rotting flesh and hugs the dead out of it! In a nutshell it's phenomenal! Thank you Capcom!

Great game with great story mode. I played about more than 40 hours of it and I had fun playing through the game. The replay value is good and I like how it has extra modes. I definitely love that it is a horror game. Great experience especially with a headset.

I have always been a fan of the Resident Evil games and survival horror. I have played the games Resident Evil 4, 5, 6, and 7, but not the older games. This game for me so far has been amazing and scary at the same time. However, I do recommend this game if you are a fan of Resident Evil.

There's not too much I can say about this game that hasn't been said before. Although as much as I love it $60 may be too much for someone not into replaying a game. Due to the short campaign time it takes about 15 hours to complete both stories. So think about that before purchasing it.

If you are a fan of resident evil or survival horror games, this is a must have. The remake was handled very well, making a game that old fan of the series and new comers alike can both enjoy. The controls and atmosphere make for an unforgettable experience. Play this game you won't regret it.

I got the original version for my 12th birthday in 1998, and was terrified. While this is a remake and not a remaster, I’m happy to say that it lives up to my expectations. There are subtle differences that added new scares and kept me on the edge of my seat. This game still makes me jump!

There's some nostalgia if you ever played old RE series, but this is a new experience. Physics, camera, sound effects, graphics... it's a fresh 2019 new game. TERRIFYING is the word to describe it, and I'm loving it. Easily the best game of 2019. Can't wait for RE3 remake.

Resident Evil has always been one of the most famous video game sagas across the years and with this remake, they made the second game a new way to see it and presenting like it was a new game itself. It is recommended for all those who enjoy the horror and suspense genre!

This is the first Resident Evil game that I’ve played and it is pretty good, it is spooky and all the time I am on the edge of my seat. If you like horror game you should buy it.

This one is a classic. I have played all the resident evil series and by far this one is my favorite. The villain MR X kept me on my feet every time you hear his presence. It was a rush playing this game. I highly recommend this game.

Regarded as a classic but feels a bit dated at this point. Still a strong recommendation if you're a fan of this style of game and this franchise.

I love the original and you can’t go wrong with the remake. It’s a compete redo with many changes for the best to the original. It’s hard to make a classic better. But going with third person without tank controls and using the nemesis throughout the game like RE 3 was genius.

This game scares me even more than when it came out in '98. That's definitely a hard thing to achieve. Graphics are incredible, extras to the story are great, and seeing the Leon and Claire back in action couldn't be better. I'll be playing this game well after I beat it the first time.

Been a RE fan since PlayStation 1 have collected the series since then, been following the you tube vids on this particular RE2 remake & it follows the original I’m waiting for RE3 & RE4 remake, then I’m done!!!

Capcom did a great job with resident evil 2. The game looks good and plays even better. It's not an exact copy of the original, which is a good thing. You still have to manage your inventory and pick which zombies to kill and when to flee. Overall RE2 is great game and a must buy.

It's a fun game in and of itself. Great atmosphere. Fun gameplay. As a remake, however, I feel it could have done some things better.

This was a great game. I played the original back in the 90's and that at was a great game too. The graphic upgrades and the updated gameplay make this a must have. Really enjoyed both stories in this game.

I'm a new player to the RE series and so far I have to say that I just wish that I could have dived into it sooner. The RE 2 Remake is very entertaining and challenging. It makes you want to keep going in for more of the story. Hands down for Capcom for this truly amazing game!

It's been years since I've played the original... And normally I don't buy remaster games because it's the same game just better graphics... This one is different, they took the base game and added allot to it... New puzzles, new cut screens and best off it runs in 4k on ps pro

A few cosmetic changes aside that long time players had issues with, this was an excellent remake of one of the best RE games ever made, has plenty of modes and replayability, excellent graphics and sound. Most of all Watch out for Mr. X. He is relentless.
