Interesting look back at how survival horror used to be done -- you backtrack thru cramped hallways looking for key items. your weapons are practically useless because the enemies are extreme bullet sponges so you must spend your time running and dodging. And to make sure you keep up the pace they throw in the occasional unkillable chase monster or time limit. It's fun for what it is. Just be aware that this is not a modern survival horror where you have options on how to fight various enemies. RE2 is designed for one play style = run and dodge. Even the boss battles require you to run and dodge while fighting because bosses are have lots of health and week spots you have to attack over and over again. Also, the extra modes/DLC are all short time trials.

Awesome remake still a great classic, recommended if you have a Ps4 pro or ps5
