I'm a bit biased because I love the original so much. This remake changes some of the story but it's a very fun game and is scarier than I thought it would be

Had a bad day at the office, or someone not understand what a yield sign means and cuts you off or worse travel at the exact same speed as you leading to that awkward moment of do I go or do I let them go? Well, this is the game for you. Shoot zombies in the face in the name of all that is good and living and watch your stress practically disappear. This game will also teach you about mixing herbs and proper handling of firearms. Solve puzzles, make new NPC friends and just go bananas as you run from zombies whose quarters got stuck in the vending machine. All that stuff in there probably had high fructose corn syrup anyway!

Incredible game! Alsmot the exact story as the original but with wayyyyy better graphics of course. A lot of fun and incredible control over the characters.

Resident Evil is already the best of the Resident Evil series and now with updated graphics and the controls updated as well, this was a 'No Brainer' (no zombie pun intended)

Game is pretty hard and the zombies are bullet sponges. Its true to the original game with the difficulty. It's also pretty brutal and full of gore. The cut scenes are wild.

Absolute steal at $20 Very atmospheric The way the zombies move about is peak zombie design. Just do it!

Brilliant storyline, with a lot of homage to the original, very slight deviations from the original game. Great controls, great use of visuals. 10/10 for me

For those who are fans of the series and newcomers alike, a great game to jump into. Modernizes controls and great graphics make this maybe the best resident evil yet!

A genre defining horror title is back and better than ever. Phenomenal graphics, great atmosphere and superb soundtrack.

I'm a wimp at horror games but this game did a great job of being scary but not too scary I couldn't get through it. Graphics and controls are great.

This game is absolutely amazing. It keeps you in suspense and jumping off your seat. I had no issues with the graphics and features. Story and opening intro are great.

This is a great game onto itself. It holds some of the key elements plot points/management of items while having a current feel. This game will legitimately scare you as much as it challenges you. By far, it's been the best game I've played this year. If you enjoyed the original, but you really want it to feel like it's come back to life. Definitely pick it up. It was especially hard to resist with a price point that dropped to $39.99. That was the key motivating factor between getting it or Days Gone. I went with Resident Evil 2 because of the price and I had already rented it and loved it.

The quality is fantastic and I would recommend the remake to anyone out there who loves horror games. Both Leon and Claire each have a top notch campaign that never deviates from the original, and the 3 difficulty options are welcoming to those who may want an easy ride as well as hardcore. Capcom said they may follow with other remakes depending on our support and feedback and so far I like what I see. I would love to see the original built from the ground up, and while I enjoyed the HD remake, its still not on the same level as a remake of this magnitude. Lets make it happen!

They made the classic game even better with better graphics, controls and added story! A must own for fans of the series. Can’t wait for RE3 remake!

Unbelievable remake of one of the best games of all time. You'll be stunned by the beautiful graphics, gripping story, engaging horror.

RE2 was a superb sequel in the 90s and this modern remake is a great update. The story is still fun and the graphics/controls are top notch.

One of, if not the best, Resident Evil games. It has all the tension and dread of the original 3 games but the controls are revamped to feel more like RE4.

So good! I never played the original RE2. Didn't matter, this is a great zombie game. Controls are solid, Not too crazy difficult. Looks awesome. Buy it!

Got this on sale during Black Friday for $14.99 well worth the $15. Great remake graphics were awesome. Story was good has good replay value.
