for those of us that were in the single digits age wise when this game came out in the 90s, this is a great way to replay that story and experience it without having to play the classic, yet outdated clunky original version.

It always asks if you want to lower the difficulty if you fail a boss a couple of times. Great visuals, classic RE!

So if your a giant fan like me it took the original and made it a thousand times better I played the original for 4 hours straight to get the rocket launcher this one takes me longer with a lot more to do just starting or a big fan the game is awesome

This game is top tier if you are into survival horror. There are two storylines to play through as well so good bang for your buck. Has a free PS5 update now too.

Short game but still fun... Wouldn't have bought it at the release date pricing... It has that nostalgic feel that we have all gotten to know and love. Resident Evil will forever be a cult classic.

I was an enormous fan of the original Resident Evil 2 when I was in high school back in 1998 and played it through multiple times over the years. This was like playing a brand new game, with elements that I was familiar with, and I really enjoyed it. Certain elements did bring back a nice sense of nostalgia, but it felt fresh and like a completely new game. They did a great job updating RE:2 for the current gaming generation. Would recommend this for fans of the old and newbies to this series.

After playing the original game only a few months back I can say that the new one is fantastic. I got it on pc and ps4. I love the changes made to the game, seem that they truly wanted to keep as much as they could while improving on the original

Definitely better graphics and smoother movements in the gameplay. Back to the basic which made this game enjoyable from the beginning.

Excellent graphics and environment. Sound and lighting design is especially impressive, adding to the overall atmosphere of the game. As my second experience with the franchise, capcom did not disappoint.

This game is visually stunning, though it has also taught me that I’m not as good at video games as I thought I was.

The graphics were great the game had a lot scary and realistic challenges and it never seemed to lack some type of excitement.

If you love horror based games, definitely pick this game up! Such a classic and love the new and improved graphics!

If you loved the original RE2, you NEED to own this version! It reminds you of how much fun the original is/was but also provides a new experience at the same time. Gorgeous presentation and lots of great horror.

At first I didn't believe it but after I played RE2 I was blown away by the Epic story line, survival horror, and beautiful detailed graphics that Capcom has implemented in this remake for a true RE fan like myself.

I ordered the new remastered resident evil game for my husband as a Christmas gift. The process was easy, and the package came as it was stated. I would order on line again. He also seems to be really enjoying the game ☺️

Bought it cause I was hit hard in the memories and trying to rekindle things with Claire. Stopped after finding out Mr.X follows you continuously. Claire can stay in raccoon city, I wasn't serious anyways. Think I hear Jill calling me.

A wonderful reimagining of the 1998 classic. Overall a wonderful return to form.
