Gory and scary, but loads of zombie-blasting fun!

Personally, I think the game devs got a little carried away with that, but otherwise this game is awesome! It's just like being in an interactive horror movie--you never know what might be lurking in the shadows. Gameplay mechanics are great; it's nice to be able to aim and walk or shoot while moving. Switching weapons on a dime is definitely important! I've been away from the game franchise after PS2's RE4. This is an awesome way to return.

One of the best Remakes
