This game is amazing. This is a good example that it is possible to remake a classic from the past. It is an immersive, fun, and chilling experience. Graphics are amazing and story is very good, it's a must buy for sure. Plus I got it at a great price.

This game was worth the wait for me. The graphics are amazing and I love the small changes they made in the story while still having the same characters. The only con I found is putting it down.

Excellent game! Loved the original, and this game is a great remake. It keeps the creepy atmosphere and overall feel of the original game, but adds much improved graphics and some subtle twists. Much better than best buy’s Crappy mobile interface.

I never played the original Resident Evil 2 on the PS1 and when Resident Evil 2 Remake was announced I couldn't wait to play it and it didn't disappoint the story is so good and there's so much replay value.

I have never played a resident evil game before this one. However I have long been interested in playing the original re2, so I thought I'd give this one a shot. I first played the demo and loved that whole experience. Even in the demo it felt like I was making satisfying progress. And that's maybe the most compelling thing about this game- the progression. Sure, sometimes it is a bit video-gamey. Like, really, I cant just tear off that tape? But it is easy to forgive those kinds of logical walls because finding that certain part that I know I will need for that one thing is so satisfying. I'm not even an especially big fan of horror and I still find myself feeling compelled to keep going, to survive and find all of the clues. I really want to play the re3 remake which is due out soon.

just pickup this remake of RE2 wow , Capcom new RE engine is stunning and the controllers feel responsive , feel just like the old RE just stay away from Mr X , also has many replay value so is not a waste of your money hope you all will enjoy too

An amazing recreation of one of the greatest videogames of all time. Hand down this game has everything in spades. Cutting edge graphics, fear and tension, challenging but fair gameplay and excellent story telling. Resident Evil 2 must be played

I pre-ordered this game and was happy I did. The story is similar to the 1998 version, so you have an idea of what is going on but you get thrown plenty of surprises. It's great to play this at night with the lights off for the best experience.

I loved this game when it was originally released. This remake is such a great update to almost everything: controls, mechanics, graphics, etc. Even if you never played the original RE games, you need to experience this game.

re did the game and it looks amazing! They added a few new elements to make it different from the original, all good things added. Great replay value if you want to beat it with both charecters and have both endings.

I just completed the new Resident Evil 2 remake. And I have to say it lives up to the original Resident Evil 2. I loved everything they did with both stories. Mr X still gives me nightmares. Everyone who the original, will love this. It's very challenging, just dont wimp out and rage quit thinking it's too hard. Its survival horror... it's supposed to be hard. Its supposed to be stressful. And for ppl thinking Mr X is not in the old game.....clearly you have amnesia...either that or your a fake gamer. Would say more to those ppl but eh. Dont believe their reviews. You will not regret this purchase worth every dollar.

It's really done well. The graphics are amazing the controls are pretty great. Its alot of fun and the fact of Mr. X pursuing after you can make you nervous lol. Now my main gripe as well as everyone else's is that the story was lacking and the scenarios are lacking. I know Capcom said no A and B where planned but they could be done better. Over all my childhood wasnt ruined for once lol but nothing will ever beat the original. I cant wait for RE3 remake to hit!

This is be far one of the best games in the Resident Evil series. It takes the classic RE2 and expands upon it greatly in terms of graphics and gameplay with smooth over-the-shoulder aiming and responsive controls. Not only are the graphics amazing and the controls good, but it is also very scary, which is what I expect when picking up a horror game, although might not be too good for the easily scared. I would 100% recommend this game to RE veterans and new comers alike.

The original RE2 was my favorite game in the series. This remake is exactly what I hoped for and is a better overall game than RE3-Remake is. Outstanding game with a lot of replay value.

RE2 was arguably the best title in the series to date. The remake certainly proves that with updated graphics and a few added twists to the story. Worth a playthrough even if you've mastered the title on PS2.

I loved RE2 when it came out when I was a kid. This remake/update is incredible. Graphics and game play have been updates and the story has been tweaked as well. I hope these types of changes carryover to the next new RE game.

It's a great game no doubt! Even were this not a remake of an old classic, on it's own it's an amazing achievement! Graphically it's one of the few games that manages to get gore looking SO realistic that it actually makes me cringe. Not only that but locations are super detailed, moody and have tons of atmosphere. Gameplay is a fairly standard 3rd person shooter but the surrounding mechanics elevate it to greatness. It's little things like having such a limited inventory, being able to patch windows with wood, staggering enemies with well places shots, etc. If you played the original you'll be in for a treat, this game truly does it justice! But if you've never played it, I'd argue you'll have an even better time with this if you're a fan of horror games!

Some of the earlier Resident Evil games were a bit before my time and though I have watched gameplay it's wasn't the same so I am really glad this game was remade. I got a chance to play a Resident Evil game at it's finest. Instead of a shooter with some horror elements I got to experience an RE game from the survival horror genre which was really nice. I always appreciate a challenge while gaming and I definitely got one playing this game. Between having to manage supplies and inventory space (especially on the higher difficulties) to figuring out which enemies should be put down permanently and contemplating the safest route from point A to point B the game always kept me on my toes and I never truly felt safe. This game was definitely worth the preorder.
