Super fun to play and a great game in the series! Graphics are super nice!

I have been a fan of Resident Evil 2 for over 20 years. This game knows when to update and when to hold back in terms of how faithful it is to the original. If anything, while I played it I was surprised by how faithful it was. The character designs are also updated in just the right way. Loved Leon and Claire's designs. In short everything you could ask for in a remake. Most importantly, it respects the original.

This is a total remake of the original resident evil 2. Everything has been updated for a modern audience.

Perfect remake. On the hard side if you're only used to the newer REs but there are multiple difficulties.

Resident Evil 2 remake is a great game if you played the original for the PS1 I'll love this one.

This game is great I always wondered what it would be like to play old games with today's graphics and capabilities. There are things that feel different from the original game and things that feel the same but too long removed from my original game play to say which is which.

Just like I remember and a visual upgrade that looks like it was built for the system originally

I binged this game nonstop for almost a month. Love the different scenarios in the story.

Interesting look back at how survival horror used to be done -- you backtrack thru cramped hallways looking for key items. your weapons are practically useless because the enemies are extreme bullet sponges so you must spend your time running and dodging. And to make sure you keep up the pace they throw in the occasional unkillable chase monster or time limit. It's fun for what it is. Just be aware that this is not a modern survival horror where you have options on how to fight various enemies. RE2 is designed for one play style = run and dodge. Even the boss battles require you to run and dodge while fighting because bosses are have lots of health and week spots you have to attack over and over again. Also, the extra modes/DLC are all short time trials.

Husband loves this! Looks great on our PS5! Worth it!
