The best game remake, ever! Graphics, audio, story, gameplay, world design. Everything shines! 10/10

Awesome graphics, modernized control movement, great story with new cutscenes make this a must buy.

If you like resident evil games, then stop reading and go buy this game. It reminds me of resident evil 7 mixed with resident evil 4. It really puts the horror back into zombie games. Keep in mind it's a short game, around 8 hours to complete, but it's made for multiple playthroughs. You can play a second time as a different character, or the 2nd run feature that changes the game a bit. Plus they announced free upcoming story dlc.

Classic game if you are into the RE franchise. It was compatible with my Xbox One S, and I had no issues installing it. The game itself is amazing; it was nostalgic to play it again. Particularly over the last few REs that have been out with the exception of RE7. I would play it on a TV with HDR capability to get the best out of the game. I strongly recommend it!

I've never really been interested in Resident Evil, but the hype for this remake made me check it out, and I'm really enjoying it. The game is great mix of action and puzzle solving, and it's astounding they were able to make the core of a 20 year old game feel so smooth and modern. Personally, I don't find the game that scary, and the game over animations are pretty muted with a couple exceptions, but your mileage may vary.

This is what a remake should be, familiar enough to satiate my nostalgia but with enough new features to make this feel like a new experience. It has great jump scares but it does not rely to heavily on them. Some new elements have been added to emphasize on tension and pressure to adapt quickly during certain segments of the game. This is a must for any resident evil fan and survival horror gamers.

I remember playing the original version of this game when it was released on PS1. The game was scary then, but with modern graphics the game is now scarier than the original. The creators have also preserved the original level setups. The environments are the same and the cut-scenes are similar. Get this game if you are looking for somethings as nerve-racking as Alien Isolation and Outlast.

Excellent game, you still feel the same emotion like the original, but the story is a little bit different. The control response is very good, the sounds are accordingly to the scene, the graphics looks almost exactly like Resident Evil 7. If you are playing RE2 for the first time, you wont be disappointed, if you played the game 20 years ago, you will love it again!!!

I wish it was longer but its well done and good sale prices.

Great graphics and excellent story and awesome premise and execution

The remade graphics look amazing. Resident Evil 2 has always been my favorite. Game plays well with a few mOre options then when on ps1. When you are in the sewer.. well I won’t ruin it for you but it looks so much better then ps1. This is a must get if you like Resident evil. It does make a difference if you play on Xbox one X then on standard Xbox One.

I have not played many games with a linear story that has made me replay it as many times as I have. Absolutely love it even with the minor changes and updates. And the free content and low priced dlc makes it even better. Best yet this game has done so well that the team is now working on a RE3 remake. Which is the one that I started on back in the day.

This is another incredible remake. It holds true to the original in many ways but also expands and adds to it to make it even better. The graphics are incredible, it has easily the best looking cheeseburger I have ever seen in a game! The environment is engrossing and the zombies are insane! Whether you played the original or not, play this one!
