Back in the day, I borrowed the original Resident Evil 3 from a friend and instantly became hooked. Being a remake of the first ever Resident Evil game I ever played I was very excited when this was announced. If you played the Resident Evil 2 remake, it plays more or less the same. It's built using the same engine so has the same UI and everything. Raccoon City is re-imagined in beautiful HD. Critics have complained that some areas from the original were cut which is true, but new areas/events have replaced them so I don't see it as a loss overall. This is a solid Resident Evil game. Pick it up today!

REmake3 contains all the thrills, action, and exhilaration from the original while re-imagining the sequence of events to produce a new experience that still feels nostalgic. Featuring the same gun mechanics of REmake2, RE3 brings back the dodge ability from the original PlayStation release, mapping the maneuver to a shoulder button press allowing for quick access. Again, like REmake2, REmak3 leaves the campy dialogue for Hollywood-esque voice over. Jill, and especially Carlos, are better fleshed out, given character arcs as opposed to stereotypical archetypes. Without giving anything away, a certain UBCS soldier really gets a character upgrade, allowing for an unforgettable performance. Unfortunately, The Mercenaries bonus game from the original is absent. Instead, Project Resistance, a 4v1 MP mode is available from the start. Prior to any DLC release, RE3 gets 4 STAAAAAAAAAAAAARS out of 5.

Pros: * Same great gameplay with some nice QOL adjustments as RE2 Remake (specifically replays) Cons: * Missing some content from the original game. * Definitely some classic "gotcha" Capcom moments. You either love them or hate them.

This can't beat the original, however capcom did a great job re creating the resident evil 3. It is very graphical, scenery is amazing, still gives you chills playing it. Great memories from the original and now recreated beautifully. Recommended

Resident evil 3 Remake is very Fun and has the same updated Graphics and texture that make this fun to play, but honestly the cut out to much from the Original Game which shorten the story from the original, Still a blast to play.

I had a great time playing this game, even though it's one of those "play it once" titles where after you beat it, there's not much as far as replay value. Still would recommend it though for any fan of the Resident Evil series!

Resident evil 3 is great but not as good as Resident evil 2. The story is alot shorter then Resident evil 2 but it is still a game worth buying because of the fun factor and graphics alone. The only real problem about this game is how short the story is!

This game is awesome. Great graphics, story is good but they could've had more objectives in the game. The nemesis looked terrifying but seems like the game was rushed a bit. I felt luke they pushed this too soon and wasnt ale to fit more into this one.

Surprisingly short campaign especially compared to the original release. They cut out some content from the original and replaced it with more action oriented stuff. Not bad at all but something you should know going in.

First off, I know most people are complaining about it being short. Well weren't all the old Residemt Evils short after you learned what to do and unlocked indicate weapons? Almost all of them had the infinite rocket launcher for beating the game in 3 hours or under. Personally O love this remake more than 2. I give it a 4 out of 5 because there is a few things that I didn't like such as [spoiler ahead]..... Jill not going to the RPD. Sure Carlos does but its not the same. And all the F-bombs. It doesnt offend me. I cuss. But to me they just overdone it like most modern games now to be edgy. That was one of my complaints with RE R2. I'm sure alot of people will disagree but I felt like it didn't add to Jill's character that it took away somehow. All in all play this game if nothing else wait until a price drop. And Nightmare mode is the way to play IMO.

Overall the game is great but not as good as the 2nd game that they remade. The story was good but quite short and there isnt really much replay-ability other then trying to finish all the challenges. The multiplayer mode is ok but nothing special.

The nostalgia this game gives is amazing. The graphics and storyline is so well done, it’s almost like watching a movie. I found the game easy but the replay value is still there cause it was a roller coaster to play!

Game itself is good. Story can be completed in one sitting (4hrs or so) if you take your time. For the $60 price tag it's best to wait for a sale. It does come with a decent multiplayer mode that can be installed separately, so there's that.

I enjoy the game even though it's short only 6 hours and doesnt have another part to it but great dame of the old playstation 1 days I do reccomend people to play if u fan of resident evil 1 or 2 or even the franchise

It's a really good remake, but it's very short in comparison. The original RE3 is my favorite of the first 3 games in the series, so I was really looking forward to this. I beat it 5 times in the first week.

Longtime Resident Evil fan here. It's a good game, the graphics are insanely good, but I wouldn't say this is a horror survival game. It's more action oriented (more so than the RE2 Remake). The main campaign is very short (6 hours to beat)

Don’t let any bad reviews you might have read fool you, this is a really fun game. It does feel a bit more actiony than horrory, but the gameplay and graphics are great. For me personally it wasn’t as good as part 2 since it feels a lot shorter and less scary overall, but I still had a blast playing through it and multiple times as well, which I don’t usually do. This also isn’t a 1 for 1 remaster of the original RE3 and is missing some stuff that was in the original, but if you can overlook that, I think you’ll still have fun with this game.

Great game/great product. RE fans should be satisfied, but newcomers might be let down if comparing the length to the first game. Otherwise, easy A and easy recommend.

Resident Evil is my favorite horror game franchise of all time, and this game, Resident Evil 3 Remake, is no exception of a great RE game. Gameplay while more actiony compared to it's predecessor, is a lot of fun. Still has the elements you would come to expect from a survival horror game, and the combat is in line with Resident Evil 2 Remakes combat which is fantastic. Un-surprisingly, the game has amazing graphics, considering that the game was made on RE Engine. The soundtrack is also fantastic. The two main gripes I have with this game is the game is really short, and parts like the clock tower sequence in the original are missing. Overall, it's a fantastic Resident Evil game that I can't recommend enough. If you like Resident Evil 2 Remake, you should definitely check this out.

Nemesis Is the star of the show here along with Jill. The and the exploration of racoon city and feel of the city as the outbreak reaches all time highs are pretty nostalgic! The environment feels creep and surreal, With Nemesis following closely the tension is definitely there! People are complaining that its short.. perhaps it is but definitely short but sweet! If you have a choice either re3 or re3, definitely pick this one up! Especially if you have other games calling your name like me lol.. you'll be able to sink in and explore in about 10-12 hours max. Happy with my preorder!
