Resident evil 3 is a fun game I needed this in my collection because I got the second one physically I couldn’t get a physical copy when it came out because of lockdown

An excellent upgrade to a good RE game. Dont expect it to hold up to the RE:2 remake though, because that was a better game to start with. Capcom is on a roll.

Thought this a great remake to the original. Alot of people complain about the length of the game but I don't see that issue. The game has plenty of replay value and tons of things to try and find for any achievement/trophy/OCD players. Unfortunately this isn't anything revolutionary in comparison to the RE2 Remake. The scenery is a little more intense, and the volume of enemies you encounter at once are higher, but it's nothing thats going to make it stand out in comparison. If you're an avid fan or completionist of the series, its a must. If you're looking to get into the RE world, or just want to give one of these remakes a try, I'd stick with 2 until this goes on sale.

If you're expecting another RE2 Remake experience - that's not quite what this is. It's a lot of fun, but short and not particularly in-depth. There is potential fore replay value, though.

If you never played the original RE3, you will love this game. Older players will dislike a few changes, but the game itself is a great game. Not as good as RE2, but it is still great.

Resident Evil 3 by Capcom offers two games with differing stories and gameplay--all under one price tag. Fans of the original should also be excited for a plethora of nostalgic references. Upon completion, I've not only come to the realization that Resident Evil 3 is an enjoyable and truthful survival horror game, but it's a thrilling experience that remains fun to play even after the first playthrough. -- In Resident Evil: Resistance, players can take control of multiple characters with various abilities and backgrounds that can aid them through horrifying experiments. Resident Evil: Resistance is one of the most innovating and exciting multiplayer experiences in the video game industry. It combines co-op and competitive elements and allows a four versus one simultaneous online play. For split-screen players, unfortunately, this game does not offer local multiplayer--at least for now. While the concept behind the gameplay may seem difficult to comprehend at first, after playing through multiple online matches should get you up to speed, and when it does, the experience can get hectic. Four players must survive against hordes of infected zombies and creatures that have been summoned by a fifth player, also known as the "Mastermind." The gameplay works very well, and there aren't any bugs or issues that I've come across during the numerous matches I've taken on--both as the "Survivor" and the "Mastermind." This game uses the same game engine as Resident Evil 3, so the graphics are amazingly similar. Also, the company behind the game offers future updates for this online expansion, which offers those who want more out of the experience additional gameplay. If you are looking for a fully-functional, innovative, and chaotic multiplayer experience set in the Resident Evil universe, Resident Evil: Resistance is for you. Overall, Resident Evil 3, and its additional content game, Resident Evil: Resistance, offers unique, revolutionary, and thrilling adventures that any survival horror and multiplayer fan would love. I'm still playing through both games as I write this, and I am enjoying every second of the experience.

Its s good looking and playing game. It just lacks that extra punch part 2's remake had with content. More of a $40 day one purchase. The bonus steel boom helped me pull the trigger though.

Resident evil games are so my favorite games. I picked this up for a very good price. And it also came with a PlayStation 5 upgrade.

The game is very similar to RE2 remake gameplay wise, and has an equally amazing story. The only downside in my opinion is how short the game is, ending after about 5 hours of game play.

It is a little on the fast side as far as how short the campaign is. But I had so much fun playing it, I got the platinum trophy for it! Totally worth it!

The game is very high quality, the RE Engine makes all characters look fantastic and gives the city a life-like feel. The action is great, and if you played the original, you’ll appreciate the adjustments they have done to the plot so that it fits modern gameplay. It is rather faithful to the original, though they do cut certain areas and features (look anywhere online for those), but that doesn’t detract from the experience as a whole. Another caveat some people have complained about is that this feels like a shorter game than RE2 Remake, but the original was also shorter than its predecessor. You shouldn’t miss this experience, there is plenty to like.

Despite some missing content from the original Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, Resident Evil 3 remake is still an enjoyable video game.

For a remake this was great, I found myself sucked in again and wanting to actually complete the game. Just a bit sad that it’s a relatively short game

An excellent remake just like the original, with great upgrades to gameplay and visuals

Solid remake of the original, albeit worthy of 4 stars for shortness and what I describe below. For ye PS4 trophy hunters, just know that the final boss on Nightmare and Inferno is absolutely ridiculously insane (I had the unlimited ammo for rocket launcher and assault rifle, but gave up after raging for hours). It wasn't as hard on Hardcode and below difficulties, but they amped up the difficultly from like a 5 to 20 for Nightmare and Inferno. Otherwise, thoroughly enjoyed this one. If you liked RE2, you'll like this one. If you are an OCD trophy hunter (like me...ha!), you may struggle beating the higher difficulties to get the plat.

Remember playing the original game on ps1 and had to buy it again and I had some much fun playing it and the graphics made this game so much better

Very short game but it does have replay value purchased when it was on sale also has a free ps5 upgrade.

love to play this game. graphics are pretty good. I did get stuck on one part though that i just cannot get passed.

Cool game. Blasted through my first play through in a little over 3 hours. Graphics are crazy and I was just playing on a regular PS4. Steelbook case got a nick on it though.
