This was an interesting choice for a remake and I know a lot of fans wanted this but I think I would have preferred RE4. That being said, it is well done, if a little short for my taste. I haven't played the original since around when it came out so many years ago but I seem to remember there being quite a bit that got cut from this remake. All-in-all I think it is well made and it looks fantastic (especially compared to the original release). I think most Resident Evil fans will find something here to enjoy.

It is a little short. I beat it in 9hours, 32 minutes and 56 seconds. I beat it in 2 days. I got a grade C in Assisted mode (easy mode). The graphics are great, gameplay is great and story is decent if you know Resident Evil stories. If will give you memories if you played the original 1999 game when that was out. The puzzles were easier than the RE2 Remake. It is definitely worth buying despite the short play through.

The Resident Evil 3 remake is not bad, but it's very short. There's a lot from the original that didn't come back for the remake, areas that did come back from the original are much smaller or just become backdrops for boss fights. The new addition that allows Jill to roll out of danger makes the game a lot easier. Then there's the multiplayer, Resident Evil Resistance. It doesn't seem like a good idea to have worked on both at the same time, could have something to do with how RE3 remake turned out. If you wait for a good price drop, you'll still have fun playing RE3 Remake.

Fun game. Nice visuals. Good price. Good product from franchise.

One of the classic ones from Resident Evil series! It is just a bit short. Wish it has more contents. Overall a great game!

So much time and detail went into making this game! It looks great! I am looking forward to a remake of the original and zero as well.

Been a long time Resident Evil fan. Played them since PS1 and up to PS4. This Resident Evil 3 remake has great graphics but unfortunately this RE3 remake was a huge step back from the outstanding RE2 Remake. The game was extremely short, they cut out a lot of parts from the original version and turned it into an action game more than a survival horror.

Good game but comparing to the recent RE 2 remake it is lacking, multiplayer game that is included was a lot more fun then I thought it would be though.

great graphics, cool remake of the ps1 game. Realized after playing it that there's a lot I don't remember from the purification

More fun zombie-slaying action that looks better than ever before. HD & 4K graphical improvements are fairly stunning.

I've been waiting for this remake for awhile now and I am real happy with the turnout. This game is a must have for RE fans and anyone looking to get into the series. You dont need to know about the other RE games to play this one, and it also comes with a multiplayer game called Resistance. The graphics are amazingly done, and I think it one-ups RE2 remake in that department. You definitely will enjoy it.

Huge resident evil fan here; been with the series since 96’. The RE3 remake is more of a reimagining, the story changes and you hardly revisit familiar locations. Still great though. The graphics are phenomenal as is the gameplay. It’s just so darn short. Realistically one can beat the story in an evening. There is a ton of replay-ability though. Fans seem to be divided on Resistance but I absolutely love it. I’m addicted, I think it was a very new-age version of mercenaries. Find me, adamXeve gamertag.

Overall it’s ok. The graphics and the gameplay are just like the RE2 remake. The story is roughly the same as the original but they cut out a lot of the locations and boss fights. Nemesis is really the only boss you fight, and his scenes are scripted, he doesn’t stalk you the whole game like they made it out to be. It’s also pretty short. I don’t see myself replaying it as much as I did with RE2. Honestly I’d wait for it to go on sale, it’s not worth $60

Never played the original, but I’ve always had an appreciation for the Resident Evil series. This is a fun, but scary game.

Good remake but not as good as the original. Seems the game is too short and Nemesis is not as intimidating as expected. Good overall.

This was a great complement to RE2 Remake. It plays and feels better than RE2 but I would say RE2 as a whole is a better game/product. The campaign can be short for some people but I didn't mind, it took me about 7 hours to finish. It's much more of a reimagining than RE2 was and that could be good or bad depending on who you are. I haven't and honestly don't plan on touching the Resistance game, I didn't buy this for that and this review is about the RE3 proper but it's there for those who want it

Good resident evil game, more action oriented than the second one. Probably now worth full price, unless you are into short games...

Game is a fairly solid remake of the 1999 classic. Game has changed quite a bit and that may be off putting to some veterans, but definitely worth a look if you're a fan of the series. The single player game is fairly short (as was the original)and shouldn't take more 6-8 hours on your first play through, but has good unlockables and replay ability. Game also includes a separate online multiplayer game called Resident Evil Resistance. It's a 4v1 survival game where players must fight to survive against another player who is trying to kill them.

I loved this remake, it did seem to be a little short but overall I enjoyed the game and have replayed it about 5 times now.

It's a fun game, a bit short but if you explore you can get more out of the game. I'm a fan of the games so I really enjoy playing it over again.
