Great game for any resident evil fan ovcrose I like all survival adventure games

Pretty good video game love the resident evil series !

Resident Evil 3 is an amazing game and I enjoyed it a lot. Resident Evil 2 was one of my favorite games last year and Resident Evil 3 matches the quality of RE2. The content that is included in this game is excellent, fun, exciting, and immersing. While I really liked it I unfortunately can't recommend it at the price of $60. Note that I heavily prefer single player games so this review is written with this bias. The single playing campaign is short (~8 hours) and has less re-playability compared to RE2. If you are mostly interested in the single player part then I would wait till you can find it for ~$30. The multiplayer adds enough content to warrant the full price but similarly if you are mostly interested in the multiplayer there is not enough content and I would wait for a sale. I can only recommend this game at the full $60 to those who are equally interested in the single player and multiplayer parts. If RE3 had the same amount of content as RE2 I would highly recommend this game but as it stands right now I have to give it 3/5 stars. I hope this info helps!

This is a great remake. I played the original on PS1 back in the day. Brings back great memories.

This game is fun, but definitely doesn't live up to the RE2 remake in my opinion. I still had a great time playing it though. There are new characters as well as monsters, and they all look great. The gameplay could have been a bit more fleshed out, but it's still pretty solid. The entire game took me roughly 4.5 hours, so it's about the same length as the part 2 remake. Overall, I'd say it's a 4/5 star game if you don't go into it expecting it to be identical to RE2 remake.

Not scary at all when I expect a horror game but overall the gameplay is fun and addicting. Pretty short though.

Having played and beaten the original PS version of Resident Evil 3 I was curious to see how this remake stacked up to the original: Pros: * Similar to RE2 remake this game looks fantastic and really brings the horror of the city to life. * The changes to the game play from the original game make the game feel like a modern game. Cons: * Short * Not exactly a con but this game is not super long so it could be beaten in a evening on the weekend.

Creating my remaster collection. Jumped on sale for RE 2 and RE 3 in preparation for RE 4.

As a Resident Evil fan since childhood, I'm happy to say this remake was great. Gameplay and graphics is awesome!!

In my opinion the game really know how to explain what a zombie infection would like, knows how to put horror and action in a way all public were pleased. A really good game is not the one who has 40hrs of the same mission over and over, and makes you play that game only once in life, this game gives you entertainment until the end In different aspects and shows how good games does not need 1000 hrs to be a must have.

If you been a fan of resident evil then this game is no exception. Ever since the remake of resident 2, fans have been anticipating this. I remember playing this game when it first released I think in 1999 and it was good, but not as good as resident evil 2. With the remake of 2, I think game will turn out exceptionally well as they made up for past mistakes. Also comes with the collectible steel book which makes it a plus.

Not as good as Resident Evil 2, as RE3 is pretty short. Overall it is still fun, and the action starts immediately

Good game that still has solid gameplay mechanics, but my God is it short. The par time for a good rating on this game is sub 2 hrs, certainly the game modes unlocked will add some extra playtime but is that enough. I am not certain if everybody will be on board for paying 60$ for a game this short, still I enjoyed and was contented enough with what I got. Oh and I did not play the multiplayer component of this game since it is just a reskin of Dead By Daylight.

The game builds upon most of the mechanics and graphics that was introduced with RE2 Remake while also adding in some new elements for the more action packed sequel re3. New abilities like dodging for Jill and a shoving/punching counterpart for Carlos allows them both to weave and maneuver through waves of zombies much easier (not always as responsive as I'd like though) the re2, but takes away the horror element by having such a trump card right off the bat. Nemesis on paper is a much more frightening advisary compared to Mr.X since he can sprint along with the use of weaponry and tentacles, but a after 30 minutes the tension drops when *SPOILERS* Nemesis begins to change form.. honestly the more he evolves the less i feel unsafe *NO MORE SPOILERS*. Though the biggest issue for me is the length of the campaign... With a lot of back tracking, I was able to complete this in 7 hours... Standard difficulty... This was the biggest con imo since other than harder difficulties and collectables that's it. I'm keeping this review separate from resistance since i haven't had enough experience with it yet. Though to summarize this review, this would be a stellar game on sale for 30 bucks. 60 is too much for this and even with it's shortcomings, Re3 is still a necessary purchase (eventually when it's on sale) for those who best the previous installment.

Loved every minute of it! Makes me excited to get RE4 Remake!
