The gameplay is great, it takes the Resident Evil 2 remake formula and adds some new mechanics like dodging. It's let down by its cut down story and content in comparison to the PlayStation original.

This remake does a great job retelling resident evil 3 nemisis, but it wasnt as amazing as resident evil 2 remake gameplay wise. This one feels a bit rushed because Capcom wanted to make room for their multi-player mode which was an interesting experience but I rather have them stick to making story modes.

Main game is a nice cinematic experience however it’s much shorter than original, the harder modes give you a challenge but doesn’t make up for it. Fact that it come paired with resident evil resistance is a bonus , however mastermind has long wait times, overall good game!

I was looking so forward to this game. I think the original RE3 was one of the best in the franchise. I remember nemesis was a terror throughout the whole game. The original 2nd and third form nemesis was amazing. The 2nd and third forms in this game were kinda dumb. I feel this was a waste of a remake. It was too short, locations were reused. The Nest and RPD locations from RE2 were reused with modifications of course. The city section was incredibly too short. Nemesis was only a terror like in one small portion of the game. The rest of the time he's incredibly scripted. Waste of the characters potential. That was the single most disappointing factor of this game. The next was no mercenaries mode. Instead we got a multiplayer mode nobody asked for. It was cool to see it with updated graphics but that's about it. Buy it on sale.

Just as in Resident Evil 2 Remake, Capcom did Resident Evil 3 Remake well. The only problem is that they cut several key areas out that were in the original, that would be my main reason for knocking off a star. Outside of that, it is still a good purchase!

This is a great game that is a faithful remake of the original. Visuals and atmosphere are top notch, as well the gameplay. It plays just like resident evil 2 remake which was also a great game. The biggest downside is that the game is very short and can be beaten around 5 hours.

This game is so much fun! Even it is a little short, it’s still very fun. The music perfectly fits the atmosphere and nemesis is extremely terrifying. You’ll definitely love the characters as the story goes on. I would definitely pick this up when you get the chance!

I've been a fan of Resident Evil since the first game. I really liked the game although I think I enjoyed Playstation 1 more. I found the game a bit short. I finished it in a few hours in medium difficulties. Nemesis chases at first stress you out more than end but overall it's a great game

I Love this game! Loved this game when it was originally released many years ago and this new remake is everything you love about the original and more. I loved Resident Evil 2 as well. Don’t miss these games if you love survival horror games.

Resident Evil 3 is a great bite sized remake of a bite sized game, hopefully they remake Resident Evil 4 next! The RE engine created for RE7 once again shows how it can create great experiences no matter the type of Resident Evil game you’re looking for!

Great fun game that’s worth the buy, the story is a little shorter than most games (5 hours for experienced gamers and about 8-10 hours for casual gamers) but it does have a lot of replay value and an online multiplayer that’s great for these quarantined times

I never played the original but my husband did. The remake is quite a bit different from the remake, but the remake is still enjoyable. It is short for a resident evil game( I beat it in 4 hours). It is still fun but if you are looking for an exact replica of the original this is not it.

Great game with awesome graphics and gameplay. The main game is a little short which can be beaten with 4 to 6 hours. But otherwise a fun game and resident evil resistance is a nice addition to the main game.

This is a pretty good game . I have played all the Resident Evil game series. This one is not as good as some of the others. I will be playing the Village PS5 next. Which looks outstanding. I am a fan & pretty much love all the Resident Evil games.

After Resident Evil 2 remake, I was very excited for this one. But it seemed too rushed, Major locations were cut from the original, and Nemesis is almost a non factor. Too short to pay full price. Graphics are gorgeous tho.

I didn’t play the original, that I know alot of people love and dislike some of the changes made in this remake, But as my first experience I really enjoyed it. Its pretty short but its meant for multiple playthroughs with different weapons and harder difficulty.

Beautiful HDR CBR 4K graphics @60fps on the PS4 Pro. Great sound design. Interesting new take on the original story. One big let down is the game’s length. Way too short. Hopefully that can be remedied with the release of a story DLC. Multiplayer is ok.

Awesome game! After playing RE2. This game is a little different, some maybe be put off by the story elements cut. It’s more action oriented, and it’s kind of short5-6 hours tops. But going back there are quite a bit of unlockables.

Ignore the slight backlash around this game. Yes, the cut the clocktower and other areas from the original that barely added anything. Live selection in the original was a bit pointless along with 13 epilogue endings that had nothing to do with the main campaign. Instead, they improved on various other parts and made them longer especially with Carlos. The main story to this game is about 5-7 hours on your first playthrough. Until you realize you unlock another mode...then another...then another. You get 5 different modes, similar cash shop to the original like in mercenaries to make other playthroughs fun. All in all the main game is quite engaging and creepy. Resistance is also a great new mode to have compared to the 50th rendition of mercenaries. It's for sure worth it. The only disappointment I can honestly say about this is the lack of DLC costumes.

I played the original back in the day and loved it. The remake is really cool. Graphically impressive. Pretty intense. A lot of the modern takes on gameplay are very much appreciated. Worth a look if you're interested in Resident Evil or played the original RE3 and enjoyed it.
