Love this game, just a little short. If they would of kept everything the same, this game would of been as good as the original.

The game itself is great regardless. Comparitively to last year's Resident Evil 2 remake, it's a shorter game with less content though. You're essentially paying $40 for RE3, and $20 for the multiplayer side game Resident Evil/Project Resistance. However. My order from Best Buy itself was a little lackluster, to say the least. Last year they made it dummy complicated to ensure your order of the steelbook for preordering. That was fixed this year, however the clear plastic was torn open, and the case itself is super scratched. Beyond bummed that Best Buy can't handle their products more carefully.

Loved the original, this was a great remake lots of fun. Highly recommend

This game is a respectable follow up effort by capcom. The game may be short but it still maintains the critical survival horror atmosphere aspect with the over the top Action of the original. The multiplayer game that is included in the package has some good and new ideas that could be added on in the future to further expand the franchise in the multiplayer community. I think reviews that have anything below a 6 are shameful and I would give it a 9

Fun game. I really enjoyed it. Some quality of life improvements from RE2. But there is something much to be desired from this game. Cut content is always a bad step for a remake imo. Due to this, it made the game seem very short as well. Overall, RE2Make is the superior remake and superior game. At least, you have two separate campaigns to go through. RE3Make just left too much on the chopping floor. That said, it is great for speed runners and streamers due to the point system that allows to unlock upgrades at the beginning of the game.

Another game that brought back memories and looks great on a ps4 Pro

Great game, short but very sweet. I played on PS5, so I can't speak for PS4 but performance and visuals were fantastic.

Fun game, a little short at about 10 hours, but there is a lot of replay value. Multiplayer game is also fun.

Remake of classic Resident Evil game that is way too short. A lot of cut content.

As someone who has never played the original RE3 before, this was a lot of fun to experience. The presentation, soundtrack and sound effects are some of the best I've seen in gaming. The gameplay is smooth as butter and the story is engaging. For a $60 game however, the single player is way too short even if you go for Platinum, especially if you're just not a fan of the new Dead by Daylight/Friday the 13th style Multiplayer mode (which I personally don't care for). I would recommend waiting for a sale, price drop or rent.

Super fun if you are a fan of the series. No big or issues encountered with two playthroughs.

Resident Evil 3 is a good although somewhat disappointing remake of the 1999 classic. The story is good and certain characters such as Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliviera really do shine. The graphics are amazing and the game is a lot of fun to play. The main downside is the length of the game. RE3 can easily be completed in less than 5 hours on a first playthrough due to some of the original version's levels being cut. It is for this reason that I recommend waiting for a price drop before purchasing this game.

I was ecstatic ashen Capcom announced RE3 was being remade. This game was released hot off the heels of the amazing RE2 Remake. As a result of that, expectations were very much high. The graphics, voice overs and gameplay are superb. The only flaw is that, too much content was cut out that was in the original RE3 Nemesis. Hence making this game much too short making. If Capcom kept most of the original content in this remake, this game would have easily been a solid 10. Wait for a deep sale of you can.

Coming off of RE2 Remake, I was excited for another modernized version of a classic RE experience. I went in with tempered expectations though with all the complaints I'd read about the game's length and low replayability. The game is indeed on the short side - I finished in roughly 7 hours. But I'll take quality over quantity. The experience is tightly paced. Compared to REMake 2, which had a couple of large labyrinthine areas to master, this game has many more smaller sections. I find enjoyment out of both types of level design, so this was perfectly fine for me. There was never a dull moment, and a fair few tense encounters. You do swap characters on a couple of occasions and I can't say I was a huge fan of that. The 2 characters play somewhat differently from each other, but part of the RE experience is inventory management. Suddenly switching over to another character's completely separate inventory was pretty jarring and I imagine greatly hampers the replay incentive. Unlike REMake 2, there is also only 1 campaign - another detriment to replayability. But there's a lot to like here for fans - Nemesis fights were plenty exciting and really lets you loose with all the firepower in your arsenal. Graphics and controls are top-notch. Jill is really fleshed out here so you get a good sense for her character. Pick it up for a fun couple of sessions. The price shouldn't break the bank nowadays so there's no reason that length and replayability should be that offputting.

Great remake. Sucks that it’s so short though. Definitely recommend this if you can find it cheap.
