When I heard this game was getting a remake, I was excited. Haven't played RE3 since the original PlayStation 1 port, when I was a kid. Not as long as RE2 Remake (because you play tw different campaigns in that one). But overall, it's a really fun game. Wished CAPCOM utilized Nemesis a lot more as they did in the original, as well as kept more of the original areas and puzzles too.

Having been a fan of the original from way back when I was excited to see the modern take on it after the incredible RE2 remake last year. In short, the game in great. The added action mechanics push toward more nail biting encounters with zombies and other truly grotesque creations feel fresh and exciting. Boss fights are tense and large scale but are still manageable. The visuals, like last year's remake, are beautiful and do a great job pulling you into the story. Intricate environments are expertly interconnected and the devs really did a remarkable job.
The only con is the overall length of the game. It's completable in 4-6 hours your first time through and considerably less every subsequent playthrough. The game lacks the different scenario options of it's predecessor and the branching paths to the story of the original. There are records to compete for which you are awarded points to purchase all sorts of weapons and other goodies available after you beat it. I did find it fun accumulating points and going crazy in the bonus shop and I feel like it adds a moderate amount of replayability.
At face value though, this game is an incredibly fun journey that doesn't let up from start to finish and I recommend it to anyone who's ever been a survival horror fan which this series pioneered. 5 stars.

I never played the original RE3, but this game was great nonetheless. I enjoyed the graphics, story, and gameplay. However, this game’s length is incredibly short. It took me under 4 hours to finish it on standard and less during the second run. Resistance is not that great either. Wait for this game to go on sale before purchasing.

Only complaint is that the game seems a little short. Wish they hadn't taken out some of the game play from the original. Campaign was over a little fast. On the positive side, it was action packed with the original survival, horror theme. If you are a Resident Evil fan, you will definitely enjoy. The Resistance looked cool but you have to have PS Plus to play.

Good game and stays mostly close to the original in terms of story, it's a beauty to look at. The campaign is a little short but still a fun horror/action game. Resident Evil: Resistance on the other hand, didn't really care for it as much. Gameplay is too chaotic and feels generic using the zombie models from the main game. Glad it's separate install.

After RE2 Remake, this is honestly disappointing. The graphics and gameplay are solid but there is a ton of content cut from the original game and Nemesis only shows up at a handful of places. The main campaign can be finished in less than 2 hours, easily.

I almost didn't play this one because of the bad vibe many had given to this game: "too short; this is a DLC not a whole game; etc..." I finally picked it up since it was on sale and I've gotta say, it's a great game. Out of all the Resident Evil Games for which I've gotten platinum, this one has been the most enjoyable.

This is yet another great resident evil game and I highly recommend it! A single campaign play through is around 6 hours, but the game encourages replaying it and it is well worth it. Do not buy this game if you do not plan on playing it multiple times. Other than that it is an amazing game and I highly recommend it to any fan of the series.

RE3 Remake (or RE3make) excels in production as the characters are more developed, the voice acting is great, and the motion captures are amazing. The gameplay hasn't changed much from RE2 Remake, aside from adding the dodge mechanic. This game focuses more on the action aspect of RE3, much like the original, and segues into RE4 quite nicely.
After finishing the game multiple times and finally getting the Platinum, you just felt like there could have been more added to it. The developers were not joking when they said that certain environments were removed to make this game more streamline. If you've ever played the original RE3 on the PS1, you'll be hard pressed not to find that the omitted areas in this game serving only as a tease and nothing more. Depending on preferences, there are questionable design changes to the main protagonist, but I found it to be just fine.
There is also an "addition" to this package, which is RE Resistance, an asymmetrical online multiplayer game. I can't speak for too much of it because I don't usually play online in a single player game.
Overall, this package was great for the story, characters, gameplay and production, but it will leave you wanting more as it is missing a lot of what made the original the cult classic it has become. It is a very fun ride, nevertheless, but over too quickly.

The game is amazing, similar gameplay to RE2 Remake but with added features like a dodge technique. The environments are beautiful and the weapons are really fun to use. The game is a bit short, but has lots of replay value and they will probably add more content to it in the future. It also includes Resident Evil Resistance, an online 4 against 1 game that is also very fun

Resident Evil 3 Nemesis is by far, one of my most favorite games from PS1, So when they made a remake, I had to get this. Fun, scary moments and the graphics are incredible. Ain't nothing like blasting zombies, running from crazy scary monsters and of course finding items. Don't miss out, get one and play!!!

Like most, I love the Resident Evil series. When RE2 remake was released last year, I was scared of every step that I took.
Now, we have Resident Evil 3 and it's a roller coaster ride!
In a way, RE3 is actually less intense and kind of easier than its predecessor.
Right away, you'll notice how gorgeous the visuals are in this game! The city's neon signs cast their glow, creating eerie zombie silhouettes as you push forward.
The story is straight to the point: escape the city while being occasionally pursued by the Nemesis. Whereas RE2 had Mr. X relentlessly stalking you, the Nemesis pops up during scripted occasions and is relatively easy to escape from. I found this enjoyable since in RE2, I would freeze each time I would hear Mr. X coming down the hall.
What I am saying is that Resident Evil 3 is more accessible for players. There are nods to RE2 but players aren't required to have played the previous installment.
Unfortunately, this game is short and doesn't offer the extra modes that were available in RE2 but if you're a trophy hunter then you should have an easy time reaching the Plat trophy.
Capcom has done it again and I am looking forward to seeing what they do with the newly announced Resident Evil 4 remake (though I want Code Veronica first).

Great game Great graphics and if you love resident evil. The thing about the game its that its good but too short compared to the original on ps1. If anything If I weren't trying to buy it at a high price I would recommend when it goes on sale cuz 60 dollars is to high of a price for a 5hour game if you run through it the first day you get it.
