Great game but to short compared to the old one
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great game Great graphics and if you love resident evil. The thing about the game its that its good but too short compared to the original on ps1. If anything If I weren't trying to buy it at a high price I would recommend when it goes on sale cuz 60 dollars is to high of a price for a 5hour game if you run through it the first day you get it.

Amazing, just a little short
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Resident evil 3 is an amazing remake. Graphics are phenomenal, gameplay is amazing and story well of course was great. Love how cap on has remade their franchise. Where this game falls short is in length of game and replayability. If the game was priced accordingly then definitely worth the buy, however I strongly recommend to wait for a sale on it.

Incredibly fun 3-6 hour romp through Raccoon City!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While the game is fairly short (Second play through was a little over three hours) it is really really fun, to the point that I wanted to play through it again immediately. Amazing graphics, played on a PlayStation 5 flawlessly. Would wait for a lower than $30 price point on it though as it is constantly on sale here and there.

Fun survival horror game
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After playing the resident evil two remake I had to preorder this beauty. Pros (in my opinion): The gameplay is fun and thrilling Great reimagining of the original Comes with multiplayer Cons: Story is fairly short This is a must have for resident evil fans! The steel book is pretty cool looking too! Check it out!

Good Remake
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Big fan of the RE series and love the new Remakes. The Games are short but there is so much to do, so you can replay over and over and do something different. Also comes with a online game which is really cool. The Metal case it comes with is nice and unique. If you dont get it with the pre-order you can purchase it.

An okay game..
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Resident Evil 3 was the first Resident Evil game that I played when growing up. Thanks to Resident Evil 2 always being checked out in Blockbuster. I was hoping that the Resident Evil 3 Remake would be roughly the same. I was wrong. Resident Evil 3 Remake definitely feels like a rushed job compared to the Resident Evil 2 Remake. Resident Evil 3 was short to begin with, only one disc compared to two, yet many sections of the game have been cut off. There are actually YouTube videos showing what the original layout was compared to the new (not even half). There are some new enemies which is nice. I was looking forward to Mercenaries, but sadly the game substituted it for Resistance which requires PlayStation + Subscription. Apparently, the game is also a big laggy. Although the gameplay and concept does look interesting, I think Mercenaries would have been better.

Excellent game, sub-par remake
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have now completed the game 3 times. I have been a fan of the series since the release of RE4 and have played every entry in the series since then including earlier entries. This is by no means a bad Resident Evil game. It's just quite disappointing considering the masterpiece and Gold standard set by Resident Evil 2 Remake. I have no problem with the length of the game or ramped up action set pieces. What concerns me with this game is how blatant this game wears its RE4 influences on its sleeve. This is done to the point where music is nearly identical in certain sections and certain scenes (most specifically the first Hunter Alpha encounter) feel copy and pasted from RE4. The difficulty needs work as well. I think the added mechanics of Jill's dodge, Carlos' punch, and the permanent knife are fine, but the enemies (besides the standard zombie) are way too weak. This could have been curbed by making ammo less abundant, however, this would have detracted from the action horror tone that Capcom was going for. This review should not by any means stop you from purchasing this game. It is by far one of the best post-RE4 titles. I would rank it 3rd, with RE2 remake being number 1, and RE7 being 2nd.

Great but leaves you wanting more
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great game and ties very well to Resident Evil 2 Remake and I had fun playing it but without spoiling anything it left me wanting more by the time I finished it. The graphics are great and the level design is awesome but it’s too bad they cut out areas from the original and didn’t take advantage of an opportunity to expand on the story.

Great Video Game sequel
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This resident evil three occurs at the same time as resident evil two so it was very cool to see how they intertwine each other. Graphics are great, similar to resident evil two, but I felt that it was a lot shorter than Resident Evil 2 and the story was changed since I didn't see Chris in this remake.

Another great Resident Evil remake...mostly
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hot on the heels of last year's remake of Resident Evil 2 comes Resident Evil 3, and it's just as great...well, mostly. The developers did a stellar job bringing the characters to life with modern graphics and sound, but there are a few things missing. While most of the action and set-pieces remain faithful to the original, a couple of areas in the campaign were inexplicably cut - making this one a tad on the short side compared to Resident Evil 2. The mercenaries mode is also gone and has been replaced by a 4-player online game called Resident Evil: Resistance, where you can player as the "mastermind" or one of 4 survivors attempting to escape. It's an ok diversion, but I prefer the more traditional mercenaries mode. Being only about a 6-8 hour campaign, you may be disappointed with Resident Evil 3 if you expected something with more single player content. There are additional weapons, items, and difficulties to unlock however, so that may add some replay value for you. Overall this is a pretty good remake...it's just cut a tad short compared to the original.

Pairs well with a Jill Sandwich
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Is it fairly short? Yes. Is it really fun to replay this well-crafted, beautiful, intense masterpiece? Absolutely. I've had a blast finishing this game multiple times on each increased difficulty. There was a lot of care put into this game and I can't recommend it enough.

I would recommend to have it you are resident evil play station one games as the survival horror makes it soooooo fun and engaging and a game witha lot loooot of replayibility

Great game but feels a bit too short
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went into this game expecting it to be great like the RE2 remake, although the game is bit short and at times feels like it’s missing something it’s still pretty good. It does have replay value for RE fans and the multiplayer game is actually pretty fun. Overall not a bad buy but it does feel a bit too short.

It’s fun but short
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a good game and very fun to play with lots of replay value. The only thing is the game is short and yes most RE games tend to be short but with no alternate ending or any extra unlocks to add to story it falls short. There are two more difficulty modes to unlock once you beat it in hardcore but that’s it.

Good remake
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The RE 1 was the reason I bought a PS1 back in the late 90s. Glad to see they are keeping the franchise alive without it getting too stale. This was a good remake. This was also a good way to occupy my time during the quarantine. I beat it in just a few days, but I’m about to replay it from the beginning.

Great looking game, but very short
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Game looks amazing, and is a lot of fun and challenging at parts. Only problem is its very short. 10-12 hours if you're trying to find most everything in the game. You'll want to reply it multiple times, so its still worth getting, but the game length is more than a bit disappointing.

Solid remake
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While this is a solid remake. Those expecting the same overall quality as Resident Evil 2 remake will be left disappointed. Game plays well, and should have some decent replay value. I only wish Nemesis had been designed different. The way he looks and his engagements on screen.

Great game
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a really good remake, it takes out all the tidius pading that the original had and replaces it with some new areas and better fights. But because it removed so much pading, this might end up feeling like a short game to you if you are not the type that beats a gmae multiple times for unlocks.
