Had so much fun playing this game once I got over the anxiety of Nemesis chasing me everywhere. Capcom did a good job with the graphics and story.

Graphics are some of the best on current gen platforms. The game is hard and scary at times but mostly always hard. Fun and addictive gameplay.

As a kid the original scared the lights out of me, and the remake still does! The game is amazing and fun, and has great replay value as well.

RE fans would love this game. The game is kinda short. But, the remake is surely a welcoming one. Can't wait for RE4 remake!!

The game itself is great regardless. Comparitively to last year's Resident Evil 2 remake, it's a shorter game with less content though. You're essentially paying $40 for RE3, and $20 for the multiplayer side game Resident Evil/Project Resistance. However. My order from Best Buy itself was a little lackluster, to say the least. Last year they made it dummy complicated to ensure your order of the steelbook for preordering. That was fixed this year, however the clear plastic was torn open, and the case itself is super scratched. Beyond bummed that Best Buy can't handle their products more carefully.

I played the original game when it came out for ps1. It was like going back all over again and I am so happy that Capcom has remade this game.

A great game. Lacks the paranoia of the original

While I thoroughly enjoyed this game and will definitely be playing through it a ton of times just like the previous remake last year, my only gripe is that Nemesis isn’t as scary as he once was. I enjoyed that paranoia of being hunted down in the original game, and with Nemesis I feel he should’ve been a more imposing threat rather than just appearing a few times.. Capcom has definitely mastered that ability as shown in the original games and with series such as Clock Tower and Haunting Ground and I feel this was a missed opportunity. I don’t want to spoil anything so I’ll leave it at that.

I am a big Resident Evil fan from the original 3 games. This was very good, nicely updated. It is kind of short but I don't mind it was fun.

Fun game that looks and plays great on PS4. Different play style that RE2 Remake, but still a fun game, and a must play for RE fans, new and old.

I own all the RE games from PS1 to PS4, and I would say RE3 is my least favorite. They did a great job with the graphics as always. I just don’t like having to be chased through the game. The game is also designed to chip away at your ammo and health. I guess that’s why they call it survival horror. As with RE2 on the PS4 I get to a point in the game where I can’t go further. I’m out of ammo or health or stuck on a puzzle. I bought this on sale mostly to add to my collection. It is worth your time, and hardcore gamers shouldn’t have any problems.

Unlike Resident Evil 2, this game has one campaign. I don't think that's a negative because a lot of what you do in RE2 is repeated events that you played, making a lot of it repeated content. So RE2's 'game length' kind of cheats. It's really no different than playing Skyrim as a human or Kahjit. RE3 again is just the one campaign. There is a 2nd mode called Resistance. It's an asymettrical competitive mode. But I wouldn't play it. I really would have preferred them to bring back Raid mode which was a fun & addictive arcade mode in both Resident Evil Revelations games.

Although not as polished as the Resident Evil 2 Remake, 3make is fun and has a lot of replay value. A recommended game for RE or horror fans.

    Cash Grab Not Worth $60

Was super excited when they announced this after the great game that was RE2 Remake. However, this was clearly a rushed game to capitalize on the RE2 hype. Cut content, repetitive bosses, and a multiplayer mode not worth playing really weigh the game down. And $60 for a game maybe 4 hours long? If you enjoyed RE2 Remake and want more, I’d recommend this, but only on a steep discount. And if you haven’t played RE2 Remake, play that before this.

This was an interesting choice for a remake and I know a lot of fans wanted this but I think I would have preferred RE4. That being said, it is well done, if a little short for my taste. I haven't played the original since around when it came out so many years ago but I seem to remember there being quite a bit that got cut from this remake. All-in-all I think it is well made and it looks fantastic (especially compared to the original release). I think most Resident Evil fans will find something here to enjoy.

The Resident Evil 3 remake is not bad, but it's very short. There's a lot from the original that didn't come back for the remake, areas that did come back from the original are much smaller or just become backdrops for boss fights. The new addition that allows Jill to roll out of danger makes the game a lot easier. Then there's the multiplayer, Resident Evil Resistance. It doesn't seem like a good idea to have worked on both at the same time, could have something to do with how RE3 remake turned out. If you wait for a good price drop, you'll still have fun playing RE3 Remake.

The mainline game is fantastic, but very short. Like under 10 hours. The online is interesting, but wonky. The servers need a big boost because the lag is unreal. It's replay factor is a lot less than 2, but the graphics and story are a great update, albeit omitting several spots from the original and taking away the several endings. Not worth 60$, pick it up on black friday

Having played the Resident Evil 2 Remake last year, I was expecting about the same quality for this game. The game is great, with solid controls and awesome survival horror elements. What holds it back is that it is a short game, with little replayability. It is only one story unlike RE2 with multiple paths and stories. If you can get it for a discount, at $30 or below, it is worth it for that price alone. Do not pay full retail, though.
