Resident Evil 3 may not be as great as the previous RE2 remake but it's still an enjoyable experience from start to finish. Semi-spoiler territory here: upon completion of the harder difficulty you will unlock Nightmare Mode which makes the game WAY more enjoyable. This mode should've been the standard difficulty and felt more on par with the previous title's difficulty minus the puzzle solving. Overall it is an enjoyable experience, however its best to wait for a sale on this particular game. Get the game but not at the full price.

While the campaign was only around 6.5 hours long, the extra modes and things to unlock make this game really easy and fun to replay.

Honestly had high hopes for this game after finishing the 2nd RE game. This game is short lived and feels a little half assed in comparison. The graphics are really good. Instead of making the game longer the company decided to give us a multiplayer game no one asked for and even messed up at making the multiplayer re game that fans would have wanted. I would honestly recommend this as a rental over a purchase.

Never played the original, but I’ve always had an appreciation for the Resident Evil series. This is a fun, but scary game.

Excellent game, you can finally purchase infinite weapons once you complete the game, as opposed to this being speed runs or unlocks attached to game ratings “S” or “A” for example. The movement to evade zombies is something I love the most. I feel like I can actually control my character with great precision and handling. For aiming I set the reticles and cameras at fast and it kind of feels like I am playing at 60 fps. Aiming movements are excellent.

Game is short but everything about it brings back the nostalgia and fear just like when the original ps1 game released.

Very good RE game, like any RE game it's short but great for replayablilty plus comes with a free multiplayer sidegame.

I really dont understand how anyone could give anything less than 5 stars. I played the original and it's not the nostalgia as to why I'm giving 5 stars as the game, even if brand new today is still exceptional! Beautifully put together graphic wise, amazing game play with that good old resi evil horror feel to it. I've seen a lot of complaints as the story line is so short (I've yet to complete it) but for me the 3 hours I've played have been fantastic.

Awesome remake I love it except for nemesis constantly on you it's annoying but otherwise an awesome game.

Great game but very short! It took me like 6 hours to finish it. Visuals are stunning. Especially if you have a 4K TV.

Graphically it looks really nice. Uses the new move and shoot mechanism from the newer RE games. Short but fun.

Even though there's a part in the game that forces you to explore the police station again, there was a new side to it because it showed you what happened to the characters/bodies that Leon and Claire meet during their adventure in Resident Evil 2. I beat this game in under 6 hours, but I loved every minute of it and I believe it to be an excellent counterpart to the Resident Evil 2 Remake!

Resident Evil 3 feels more like a dlc or expansion to Resident Evil 2 than a full game. The gameplay is nearly identical to its predecessor, though it's more action heavy, instead of survival horror. I was a bit disappointed in how quickly I finished my first playthrough, clocking in at less than 7 hours. There aren't any alternate scenarios here, so it has much lower replay value than RE2. Fans of Resident Evil will enjoy this game but I suggest buying it on sale, it's not worth full price.

This REmake may have cut a lot of content from the original, but it's still a good Resident Evil game. I've played the series since 1998 and have loved it ever since. The game is beautiful and plays great, but the price is not comparable to the game. It may include a "free" online multiplayer game, but I would much rather buy REmake 3 for $40 without Resident Evil Resistance which isn't my cup of tea. Bottom line, buy this if you're a Resident Evil fan, but wait until it's on sale if you're a casual Resident Evil fan.

A well done remake that warrants a replay. Wouldn't mind a PS5 upgrade.

This survival horror game is definitely a good looking game and it controls and sounds awesome.

Resident Evil 3 comes with 2 games. RE3 Remake and RE Resistance. Remake is great, filled with a 5 hour campaign that remakes RE3 in a really fun way. It's fun for multiple playthroughs, and what most of your time is going to be spent. Reisistance on the other hand... is ok. It's not bad, but not very good. If you have friends i guess it be great to play, but without it, this game wouldn't have been justified as a $60 release. You can play as Dr. Birkin and Mr.X/Tyrant from RE2 Remake so that's a plus i guess.
