Not a bad game. Same gameplay and engine as the RE2 remake. Not worth more than $20, in my opinion. Way too short, no extra content, and little to no replay value.

Great game and graphics but a bit too short. They cut too much out and Nemesis is not what he was. Like the game and character remakes but they missed the mark with this remake.

I honestly enjoyed this more than the RE 2 remake. It’s a much shorter game, but it’s so fun. If you loved RE2 this is a no brainer. Less content but lots of replay ability.

Wait for it to go on sale. I'm giving it 1 star to balance out the inflated review score. This is my 3rd attempt at leaving my review. The developers really phoned it in when making this game. An average casual playthrough is 4-5 hours (including cutscenes). It's not a bad game, but what you get is not worth $60 at launch. It just isn't. Watch your fair share of youtube videos for more context. This game is a must have for Resident Evil fans. I just reccommend that you don not pay more than $40 for this RE2 DLC... which is very much what it is. There is a RE2 and RE3 bundle for about $77 USD on the PSN right now. If you're okay with a digital purchase and don't own any of the games, I suggest that. I give it 6/10. Short. Lazy (plenty of ported and reused assets). Doesn't have half of the locations and enemies from the original. Simply doesn't live up to the hype. The $60 price shows a lack of integrity on Capcom's part (I recall Naughty Dog's Uncharted: Lost Legacy being $40 at launch). If it was sold for $40 at launch, I probably wouldn't be complaining.

The PS4 version is an awesome game, with killer graphics. However, I just wished that the storyline an game play lasted longer. RE2 (remake) is a far superior game and offers a lot more game time, and ability to play as two different characters.

Really enjoyed the game. Not the masterpiece RE2 is, but that was the case for the originals as well, so don’t go into it expecting it to be any different this time around. Overall a really enjoyable, spooky and fun game.

This is a solid game but as a fan of the original there’s a level of disappointment. Too much of the game has been changed and there’s not enough nemesis and, his later forms are stupid. It’s fun but short and not nearly as good as the re2 remake.

had a blast with this game but falls slightly below the level that RE2 remake was able to achieve. Would give it 4.5/5. Very strongly recommended for any fan of the series, definitely not an easy game for casual players.

With resident evil 2 being revolutionary in bringing resident evil back to horror, resident evil 3 does the same and more adding the right amount of scares, action, and some surprises here and there. Go out and buy it!!!

Great game on its own but some egregious omissions from the original help keep the overall playtime just over six hours. Resident Evil 2 Remake was the better product, but if you can catch this on a sale it’s a more than worthy of an afternoon.

The game is good i had a great time just wish it was longer or had extra modes if u want me to recommend a resident evil game I recommend the second one over this one would wait till this game is half price before you thinking of getting it

Finally I get to ply the classic trilogy of resident evil but in full HD. Love the new mechanics and resistance mode also. Great horror game full of alot of jump scares.

Absolutely awesome remake of the classic Resident Evil 3 with all new graphics and streamlined game play. It's a non stop action packed adrenaline rush adventure. I highly recommend it to any Resident Evil fan!!!!

Amazing graphics. Decent storytelling. Good boss battles. Suspenseful moments. However, the game is way too short to justify a 60 dollar purchase. It's more of a additional downloadable add on to resident evil 2 remake. Wait for price to drop.

Great remake and follow up to last year's hit remake of RE2. Game's length is a little shorter than desired for it's price tag, but the action and pacing are brisk enough to look past this. Maybe wait for price drop.

Now I have to start with it’s not as good as last year’s Resident Evil 2 remake but it’s a good follow up. Resident Evil 3 remake has an amazing style that continues on RE2 but with more of an action survival horror rather than just a survival horror. There is only one campaign unlike RE2 that had two thus making 3 a lot shorter but what did it for me was Nemesis was perfect! I wish they gave him a little more love considering you only fight him roughly around 3 times in the whole campaign but it honestly leaves me wanting more of Nemesis in future games. The Loyalty to the lore and the reimagined story that was kicked off makes any resident evil fan hopeful for the future. I look forward to more remakes but I’m also hopeful they will continue this story and abandon the story following resident evil 7. 9/10 definitely worth it!

This is a great horror game and is a pretty good follow up to 2019’s Resident Evil 2 remake. This game is a bit shorter than that one so I’d wait for a bit of a price drop but it’s still well worth the purchase.

Stays true in Capcom remastering games, however.. It falls just a tad short to the RE2 Remake, feels like the dropped the ball with this one a tad making it more action oriented instead of Survival Horror, and the game overall feels shorter..

I just got the game and haven't been able to put down the controller, good story, good gameplay, good artstyle, good voice acting and amazing graphics, plus that best buy bonus is pretty sweet.

If you're picking up RE3 for the singleplayer campaign only I would hold off and get it at a discount. It's certainly not worth $60 for the small amount of content you're getting but at a cheaper price it's a great pickup.
