As a long time RE fan, I was more than ecstatic when they announced the remake for one of my favorites in the series. I was a little apprehensive on the design changes and whether it would aid or hurt the game. After now having beat the game 4 times and working on my 5th, I can say I'm really enjoying this game. They really have a solid product here and the game is thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. My biggest gripe with the game is the length of time. They cut out so much of what made the original RE3 great for what seemed like no reason other than to rush the product to shelves. I would have been more than satisfied with a longer game if it meant a delay or just a different release date. On my most recent play through, I was able to beat the game in an hour and a half. If length of time of a campaign is your biggest reason for buying a game, it might be best to steer clear. However, RE games are notorious for being able to be beaten in speed runs so it's no surprise this one is quite short. I still feel they could have allowed for a longer game if it meant increasing the amount of time it takes for a speed run to be completed. Overall, I really enjoyed this game and I think if you're a fan of Resident Evil, this game is definitely worth the purchase.

Whether you're familiar with the original RE3, or you've never played it before, you'll no doubt find the RE3 Remake to be a thrill ride. There're plenty of weapons and enemy fodder to keep your trigger finger busy and your pulse pounding. Nemesis stalks you through a majority of the game, and his boss forms are fun, relentless bouts. And, that's it. The visuals are spectacular and the game controls as well as you need for you to survive. Even on your first playthrough, the game will blaze by, and while it's a treat, it's quick. There're no choices to make and no branching paths. The entirety of the game could be fit into a single summer blockbuster. Your purchase is padded by the addition of the Resistance multiplayer mode. I never touched it, personally. I watched enough videos of it on YouTube to know I wouldn't find it interesting. I wish Capcom would have taken the time to reinvent the Mercenaries mode, which originated in the first RE3. RE3 Remake has two hidden difficulty modes. Besides upping the difficulty, the games enemies and items are rearranged to a marginal extent. It definitely makes the game worth replaying once more, but overall the longevity just isn't here. Wait for a price decrease, or rent it

Faster paced and more action than RE2. Engaging from the beginning. About 7 hours to play through for the first time.

The game looks amazing and is definitely very fun for what it is. But it's so short and absolutely not enough Nemesis. The changes aren't bad, but it came at the expense of so much cut exploration. Many places were re-imagined and that's fine, but a good amount of it was just cut completely. Stuff that easily could've added an extra hour or two to the downtown Raccoon City part of the game. It just seemed like not enough time was put into the story, and too much focus was probably put into RE:Resistance, which is only just an Ok game mode. The main thing that's missing is that replayability factor that RE2 Remake had. Something that hopefully gets added in with future DLC. It's by no means a bad game, but a bit of a letdown after seeing how good RE2 Remake was.

Is the single player campaign a little short? Sure. But what’s there is incredibly fun and satisfying!

Resident Evil 3 follows suit from its 2019 predecessor, just with an extra dash of action movie. It's not ~as~ scary, but it's still terrifying, as you'll be chased by the dreaded Nemesis throughout the entire game. Capcom continues to outdo themselves, and Resident Evil 3 is no different.

I don't know why there's many negative reviews about it , it's a good game with good story and that's it

I never played the original outside of the demo. It wasn't as good as Resident Evil 2 remake. It was ok, but it felt a little flat. Even $19.99 feels a little much for the game. I'd recommend it only if it is cheap and you really like Resident Evil. I haven't played the online part.

This game is definitely worth a buy if you were a fan of RE 2 Remake. Although it was short (took me around 9-10 hrs on hardcore difficulty) the action and additional difficuly mode/unlocks make up for it. Cant wait to jump into it again with weapon unlocks! Must buy for RE fans.

Love the Resident Evil games! This one was great to play but short story line. Didn’t feel like it ended.

I wouldn’t want to pay full price due to how short it was compared to RE2 remake but highly satisfied with the game. Beautiful graphics, cool story, well-acted. It doesn’t feel that much like survival-horror though, more action-horror. I want to marry Jill.

Resident evil 3 for the Ps1 was an amazing game now the Residnet Evil 3 Remake is here it's a good game however not as great as the original there's cut content missing locations the puzzles are not there and Nemesis is underused Reaident evil 3 remake is a game worth waiting for a sale

I think this is the game of the year and such a huge improvement over the original

Resident Evil has ALWAYS been one of my favorite titles since it first came out in the mid 90's. And games these days have gone away from the style that made this game great. I enjoy a good action adventure, survival horror story. One that isn't just a mindless run and gun type flow. The visuals, the puzzles, having to figure out what to do next can be stressful at times. But that IS what captivated this game in the 1st survial horror series I can think of. The original zombie game that left you looking over your shoulder at every turn. The upgrade to the series, the updated visuals are incredible. The nostalgia definitely brought me back to my younger days...For those new to the series, I hope you can love and appreciate Capcoms vision. And for those that played it when we were just kids...I hope it brings back some awesome memories...
