RE3: good game, ok follow up

This game caught way too much flack on its release. While it doesn't quite match up to the game changing quality of RE2 remake, this one is a worthy sequel with a lot of fun to be had. My biggest complaint is that I do feel that the game could have been a few hours longer, with the inclusion of the original game's clock tower segment or even some flashbacks to the RE1 mansion. Ultimately, I feel as though the resources that were put into the bland and superfluous online mode could have just been dedicated to the campaign. Regardless, this is a good pick up if you catch it on sale.

I'll be honest: after the stellar RE2 Remake, I'm pretty disappointed in this release. The original RE3 wasn't a very long game, but this remake is even shorter, with large portions of the original game excised for seemingly no reason. What's available isn't bad by any stretch, though the brief length seems like there was some intention to release a Director's Cut or DLC that was canceled. The included multiplayer mode is pretty much superfluous and I salute anyone still playing it. I wish there'd been more development time/funds spent on themain game that this uneven experience.

The game is beautiful with A+ graphics and models. It feels like capcom definitely put effort into this game. There was some stuff from the original game cut, and some stuff added, it was a bummer at first but honestly with the other extended sections it wasn't that big of a deal and for players who have never played the original they would never know the difference. I hope capcom remakes RE 0, 1, and 4, and then moves on to making more games like RE 7. Horror is definitely where they are best and luckily RE 3 had enough horror to help counter the action.

This remake is a very satisfying remake. Graphics are amazing. Slight disappointment with cut content from the original but it doesn't ruin the overall experience.

Probably the best out of the RE 2 and RE 3 remakes. A little more fast pace and the story is closer to the original. Great Game.

The remake of Nemesis is a homerun, much like RE2 remake! Don’t expect a long game! The game can be completed in 6-8 hours. This is a formula that works, but is often forgotten. The graphics are amazing due to the RE engine! Nemesis and the zombies are tough but can be avoided or slown down! My only problem with this game, and nothing to do with the game itself. The collectors edition exclusive to gamestop. We need to stop allowing gamestop to swallow up these exclusives! Best Buy with the war with gamestop and crush them

Loved the original, but even that one was short so not sure why people pick on that. Still a good game. Highly recommend.

I never played the original 3 so I was excited to play this. Great game though it was lacking some elements that made 3 great.

Resident Evil 3 (2020) is a very short, but very replayable title in the long-running video game franchise. I played through the story at least 5 times and enjoyed every minute of it! (well, aside from the Nightmare and Inferno difficulty final boss fights). Not as easy to 100% as people might say. While Resident Evil 2 (2019) was my game of the year at that time, this one will have to settle for at least a spot on my list in the Top 10 for the year.

I remember playing RE:Nemesis on PS1 countless times so this game has a special place in my heart. Although it was short, it lived up to the original. To me, it surpassed the original but some would argue that lol I'm hopeful there will be DLC just like there was for RE2 but even if there isn't I still very much enjoyed it & can't wait to see what comes next for Capcom. Resistance wasn't my cup of tea but I didn't buy this game for that lol

I’ve been a lifelong fan of Resident Evil and was super excited for this remake following last year’s. It’s better in some ways and worse in others. Most notably, the story. It starts off and is incredible before falling completely flat on its face. With that said, it’s an absolute blast to run through. Gameplay is tight. For non RE fans: 8/10. For RE fans: 5/10.

Took me back to being 8 years old again when I played the original RE3. Super fun but pretty short. I feel that's to be expected. What older RE game ISN'T short? Why would the remake be any different? I beat the game in under 6 hours and that's with me searching every room, and knife fighting most zombies. Great for beginners, although I felt like even on standard mode the zombies were too difficult to kill.

The major complaint most people have about this game is that it's too short and they didn't really expand it for the remake. I however appreciate that they respect my time. It took me roughly 8 hours to beat the first time at which point you can unlock some pretty nifty weapons and other peeks that give a huge incentive to replay. In fact i wish these cool guns would have been in RE2. I say this is a must buy.
