Cinematography in scenes, sound design and certain other characters were made best in the original. Though content and gameplay is a complete step up. Also, in terms of design and flow the remake beats the original. Still just as fun and increases the horror from the original. Capcom's best Resident Evil remake only 2 minor things were cut but everything is mostly familiar. Yet, different. Great all around

Most-have for Resident Evil Fans

I don't play my consoles as much as I would like, and I'm very picky about what games I spend my money on, but Capcon did such a fantastic job remaking this classic. It reminded me of what I love about video games. It's rare to see a remake turn out even better than the original classic.

The graphics are very well done and Leon's jacket looks remarkable!! Definitely worth picking up if you are a fan or first timer!!

Everything from the gameplay, cinematics, voice work, music and visuals come together to make the PERFECT zombie soup!

Excellent remake for only $40???

I’ve always wanted to play this game but never got into the Resident Evil series. I decided why not since it was only $30. I find myself getting freaked out and coming right back to the game because it’s so good. I will definitely have to check out the other games in the series.
