Great game overall, new mechanics are good on PS5.

I love the game play and the graphics are so much better

It's not as perfect as the original, but that was never going to happen. They cut out entire scenes, including an iconic boss fight. But I hear they're bringing the missing boss back in the Ada DLC. For every moment they cut, they made up for it by making some parts better than the original. Too bad they ruined other cutscenes and made Leon "no fun", as Ashley remarks towards the end. Ada sounds like she's being voiced by an AI prototype. Saddler has even less personality than the original because they cut out all the radio conversations between the bosses and Leon. But they added a lot of new things to unlock and the gameplay is AMAZING!!

Explosive and intense , completely emersive and scary

The game was amazing but I ran into issues with my product at Best Buy. When I received it on the release day the case was shattered and to this day I have not been able to receive a new case or code for my game that was supposed to come with it, overall I’m seriously impressed with this remake which is why I’m giving it 5 stars.

The RE4 remake does a good balance of hitting on the memories i have while also providing a new experience that feels fresh and not so “cut and paste.” Highly recommend.

The way a remake should be done, from the beginning of RE 4 the action doesnt stop. Capcom shows how the future remakes should be done. Worth every penny, if you havent bought R.E 4 remake you are missing out. Better than Dead Space and Calisto Protocol you wont be disaa.if you like Resident Evil then run to pick up R.E 4

It was understandable to be apprehensive following the huge missed opportunity. That was the 3make. However the resident evil 4 remake gave us everything that we wanted and more.

Great graphics great gameplay for new and old players

One of the greatest games of all time..AGAIN!? If you like action and horror in a kinda cheesy way then this game is for you. Way better than bingo.

So i have loved the RE games since the very first, up until the original 4th game, so when Capcom came out with the remake, just like the other remakes, i was eager to get my hands on it and i love it.

This game got me into survival horror. And the remake is just perfect

I played the original Resident Evil 4 back on the Playstation 2 not on release, but later on. It was one of my favorite games growing up and had to buy the remake day one. After playing for over 80 hours main game + dlc I can safely say this is my game of the year.

One of the best remake ever. Capcom is a master at updating their best franchise. I've played the original on gamecube, then playstation, and even the Meta Vr. This is now the definitive version or Resident Evil 4.

Love the original Resident Evil 4 it was an all time favorite of mine and this remake didn’t disappoint at all..the visuals are amazing and gives me a renewed love for this game!

The game is great but it’s hard. I ran out of ammo a number of different times and had to reload previous saves to do some stuff differently and conserve ammo and this is on standard difficulty! Was some what disappointed that infinite ammo is locked behind professional level play through!! Come on Capcom this should be thought of as accessibility options. I would always play through a few times and get weapons upgraded to max and unlock infinite ammo to make my run through on hard or professional difficulty. It doesn’t have to be another dark souls experience. That was my only gripe, still had fun playing through but might not even finish my second play through.

Wow, how many tines can I play RE4?. Several more with this rendition, updated with a fresh paint, still fun, scary, and action packed. Lost some of the camp and personality of the first but overall tone change kept me on my toes. Fun Mercenary mode and Ada Wong DLC.

Amazing remake. Very fun game with lots of action.
