I have played, beaten and platinumed almost every single Resident Evil game from PS1 to PS5. 4 has always held a special place in my heart along with 2 and like REmake 2 REmake 4 has captured the feelings I had when I first played the original. I adored this game and understood why certain changes were made. This game is the best playing RE game I've played yet and definitely the best looking. If a 5 remake or Code Veronica remake are half this good, it'll still be a dime!

An awesome remake. The gameplay and graphics are top-notch. I like the different difficulty settings. It took me about 25 hours to complete the game, but with so many gun/weapon options, I can see myself replaying, especially at a higher difficulty, and because it was so fun. There's also an extra "Mercenaries" mode which is pretty fun. Highly recommended. This is on-par with the Resident Evil 2 remake, if not better. No performance issues on PS5. Easily Worth the $60

I may be presumptuous in sating this since its so early in the year but I'm gonna go ahead and call it Game of The Year. Resident Evil 4 Remake is exactly what it is, a remake of the beloved game. It looks amazing and plays smoothly. There are numerous changes made to the story and combat that make it a new game so new players will be engaged, but enough of the original lifeblood is still there that fans will love it. Overall I'm gonna have to absolutely reccomend this game.

I'm excited to start playing this since I've become enamored with the RE series. I was a little too young when the first Resident Evil was released and now I'm enjoying every installment. RE4 has been a nice change in the remakes' gameplay style. I look forward to continuing my journey with the standard for survival horror.

My favorite remake so far, graphics and gameplay is great

Resident Evil 4 remake is as enjoyable as any game. The classis game was made even better. The controls are smooth and not clunky. The game is challenging, and fun, and I enjoyed shooting the zombies. Is highly recommend.

Re 4 is so good I wanted another version of it. This improved the original game a lot with the modern gameplay and graphics.

I mostly bought this game to play entirely in VR and I can't wait to get done with it this is the best resident evil game when it comes to variety story characters and acting it's just the best.

Spectacular video game that modernizes the originals gameplay to perfection. Resident evil 4 original was my first resident evil game, it has its quirkiness and is overall beloved by the fans. It took a while to get used to them but the controls are balanced to the game. This remake is the perfect evolution of what that game was like for me. Some areas are changed for the better and is extremely fun to play. All the residents truly are evil (4).

This is one of my favorite games, and one of the best games that I’d played. This game is perfect. Wish to replay it for the first time.

Not good as the OG version but still a great remake and has a lot of things to do even after main history completed

My wife is a huge RE fan, has been since the PS1, and I wanted to get these remakes for her. She’s beaten them all and enjoys the fact they are modern controls and not tank controls. That always stopped me from playing before, so maybe I’ll give them a whirl

I just played Resident Evil 4 on PS5 and it was really fun. The graphics look amazing and the controls feel smooth. The game is scary but also exciting, with lots of action and surprises. Even if you don’t know the old version, this one feels modern and easy to enjoy. It’s a great mix of shooting, exploring, and suspense.
