The remake is more than just shooting a bunch of mindless enemies. The game also features some stealth elements, along with well timed puzzles. The puzzles help break up all the tense action and keep things interesting. The puzzles were also well designed. They were not overly complicated, but presented challenges that added to the game's overall experience. Perhaps the best thing about Resident Evil 4 is the fantastic and tense atmosphere. With eerie music playing louder as the situation gets more tense to villagers screaming in the background, the game keeps you on your toes. While you navigate your way a dangerous situation, different sounds help reinforce the atmosphere. It is simply a well crafted atmosphere that adds so much to the overall game!

If you played the original then you know !! this one has been enhanced. Better graphics cut scenes and game play

What a game… graphics, game play, story, best Resident Evil Game Ever.

Resident Evil 4 Remake is a faithful adaptation of the classic survival horror game. The game features improved graphics to deliver a more immersive and realistic experience. The game's controls have been modernized, making it easier to maneuver through the game's environments, and the aiming system has been refined to make combat more precise. The story of Resident Evil 4 remains largely unchanged, but the updated visuals and enhanced audio make the game's atmosphere even more ominous and tense. One of the most significant improvements in the remake is the inclusion of new content that adds depth to the game's story. The new content expands on the game's lore and provides additional backstory for the game's characters. Overall a great experience.

This game is really cool when it comes to graphics. The story jumps off of the screen and pulls you in. Definitely recommend even if you’re new to the RE franchise.

It is still the amazing game it was when it originally hit the market but even better now, it’s true survival horror at its best. Love the graphical upgrade and the minor tweaks in gameplay. Only negative is the way my package arrives disc was loose in the case and case was chipped. But it works perfectly fine

I don't know how they did it. Coming into this I thought that this is going to just be a simple remake. But it's not. They had a more story to this game. The gameplay has improved. The graphics is next level. And now when I think of resident evil 4. This is the version i'm going to be thinking of.

Good game i remember the original which was good and this is better

It's a very good remake of the game. Now there is psvr2 version if you have a psvr2. It's very good and worth the money if you are into the horror and combat type scene it also has a very good story.

What can I say about Resident Evil 4 Remake, does it live up to Resident Evil 3 Nemesis: Remake, nope, does it live up to the Resident Evil 2: Remake, close but no, it's better this is like Resident Evil 2: Remake where they had literally rebuilt the whole game into something new and much better, brings back the horror again thanks to Capcom and their new redesign of the genre ever since their drip from RE6 which failed horrifically (no pun intended) this is a game from the start you think you know where to go and what to do then right away you are thrown into a new field of design, and the enemies feel much more of a threat even from just the beginning even more than the hardest difficulty from the first version or Resident Evil 4, if you are unable to die once in this game on your first try hats off to you even as an avid Resident Evil franchise player this was challenging and I bow down to the greatness and success, there are others I'll throw my hat in the jar for a contender of a GOTY chance but there are a couple others still on from my perspective. But this is a game worth buying and has much replay value.

Somehow, they remade one of the best games ever made and have it live up—and exceed—the original in many ways. The gameplay is modernized and more frenetic than ever, the characters are more realistic yet maintain their goofy charm, and the graphics look phenomenal. If you’re a Resident Evil fan, you owe it to yourself to play this.

Amazing game. I’ve played every version of this game from GameCube to PS4. This remake makes an already perfect game even better. The controls and story have been slightly reworked to make it flow better and tie into the other remakes better. Leon and Ashley look better than ever.

Great remake. Graphics are crisp, gameplay is smooth. It even comes with a free digital VR version of the game (downloadable on PlayStation network). Not to mention the $30 Christmas sale price i purchased it for is a fair retail value of the game.

The original RE4 was a landmark game that had a ton of influence on the third-person shooter & survival horror genres, so a remake had big shoes to fill, but they managed to (in my opinion) one-up the original and make the best game in the series overall! I 100% completed this and loved every second.

I never played the original part 4, so I kinda went in blind with this one, but I’m SO glad I did! The graphics and gameplay are fantastic! The story is fun and the bosses are great. I had such a blast playing this game and recommend it to anyone who is into the spooky/scary RE games. 5 stars!

I mostly bought this game to play entirely in VR and I can't wait to get done with it this is the best resident evil game when it comes to variety story characters and acting it's just the best.

If you enjoyed resident evil 4 or if you hadn’t played it at all, this is a very well done remake. It’s very similar just updated with easier camera movements and better graphics. Some characters have more enjoyable personalities and overall much better than the previous remakes for resident evil.
