Best RE remake to date. The team did a fantastic job brining this game back! At first i didnt think this game needed a remake, but I'm glad the did. While i haven't finished the game somewhere half way through. The story and atmosphere have truly matured. The fun and terror fact goes up have to battle in tight spaces only adds dept. I honestly cannot wait to replay this story again! I've given the value one start, because Best Buy advertised there will be a steel book for pre-orders. On launch day I did not receive my steelbook and the associate told me, it had to be added to the cart upon ordering. To me its false as any bouns content usually is added automatically. At the end of the day great game, however Best Buy dropped the ball on the pre-orders. The online customer service was also of no help as I was bounced around 5 times! Looking for a resolution, I received none.

Resident Evil 4 on the Xbox Series X is an absolute masterpiece! The updated graphics and enhanced frame rate on this console make the game look and feel better than ever before. Playing through the campaign again was like experiencing it for the first time, with all the horror and tension that made the original game so iconic. The controls are tight and responsive, which is crucial for a game as fast-paced and action-packed as Resident Evil 4. The adaptive triggers on the Xbox Series X controller add an extra layer of immersion to the gameplay, making every shot and reload feel more satisfying than ever before. Overall, I can't recommend Resident Evil 4 on the Xbox Series X enough. Whether you're a die-hard fan or new to the franchise, this game is a must-play for anyone who loves horror, action, or just great gaming experiences in general.

This used to be my favorite game back in the gamecube days. Probably played through it 10 times atleast! This remake has been a real trip down memory lane. The graphics are phenomenal! The gameplay has been smooth although i don't recall running out of ammo so often in the first one. The only real negative i have so far is the controls, i feel more work could have been done to improve the feel and ease of movements. almost gta4ish in sloppiness. Overall still 10/10 recommend! Im playing on a xbox series X, LG Oled tv

This is one of the best remakes to play. The graphics are amazing. The controls are great. Expanded story. Worth your time.

Great time playing this game, have replayed it several times now. Would highly recommend purchasing this title. Awesome graphics, great game play mechanics, quite challenging, Ultra fun story. A very close adaptation to the original game. They changed the story up enough from the original to make it feel fresh & exciting. Hours, upon hours of pure, unforgettable game play pleasure in my opinion!

Looks like how I remember it even though I know that can’t be possible. Game controls amazing, looks amazing and is amazingly just the right amount of corny. If you loved it on the GameCube (that’s what I originally played it on) or any of the other consoles it wasn’t supposed to release on you’ll love it even more now. Don’t hesitate, pull the trigger like Leon would.

Played the original when it came out on GameCube. I loved it then and I love it now. They rebuilt the game from the ground up. The graphics are gorgeous absolutely stunning. The game play is great and the controls are very smooth and responsive. I highly recommend this game.

This is a perfect game and one of the best ever made. Glad it got the remake it deserved. The changes they made to the game do not deviate too much from the original story but certainly add to the lore. 10/10 and certainly game of the year contestant.

I wasn’t really a fan of the original game, but this remake really irons out the kinks. Keeps some of the quirkiness while adding QOL life getting rid of tank controls, more in depth puzzles, and expanding on characters that needed just a bit more depth. The only thing I’m not really a fan of is Ada’s voice actress but she doesn’t really appear much to begin with. Worth your time if you need something to pass the time!

If you played the original its like that but better. The graphics, sound and story are amazing. Just enhances the original if every way possible. Took me about 20 hours to beat on normal difficulty.

This remake is phenomenal! 4 has always been the best in my playing experience of the resident evil franchise. They did a really good job with this remake!

Great remake of the original. It’s not 100% the same since some segments in the game changed (and QTE events are gone) but the game feels familiar and new at the same time

This has been so much fun to play and brings back when I played the game when I was 14yrs old. If you love the original this remake does not disappoint.

I didn’t play the original Re4 but I watched my brother play it all the time so I’m familiar with most of the game. With that said, I still went into it blind and it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I played RE2R blind and loved it so I had expectations and hype for this game that was not disappointed. The mechanics are one of the best I’ve ever seen and gameplay is so smooth with amazing graphics, best we’ve seen on the RE Engine. Definitely pick this game up for some fun action and survival horror.
