Resident Evil 5 has some high points and low points.

The game is fine, as long as you get it under $20.

Never was able to get the game to load not sure if game was bad but all other games played in my ps4

This game was horrible. The runscape was meh but what really got me was the very limited way to move a character.

I had high hopes to be a good co-op game but controls were horrible. Controls make game unplayable.

If you played this on PS3 then there's no reason to get this. The gameplay seems a bit dated and a weak storyline

This one kind of bums me out. It felt very by the numbers and bland. At least you get to punch boulders.

Its one of the bad RE games where it stops having cool characters and horror in it and starts being just a shooting game with boring monsters pulled out of a "how to design generic monsters" book.

Poor graphics like a ps2. The movement and actions of characters are poor too

Outside of Lost in Nightmares & Merc’s mode this game sucks

Resident Evil 5 is a great game for RE fans and gamers in general! It has an interesting story (which can get convoluted quickly if your not up to date on RE history) and the action is good. Blasting monsters with big guns as Chris Redfield is exciting! Also, the ending is great and brings us closure on a series mainstay. Grab this copy on PS4!

Overall a great experience. The graphics have been upgraded and the game runs at a beautiful 60fps. I forgot how much I truly enjoy Resident Evil 5... oh, and all of the DLC is included with this version as well. Highly recommended, especially for the $20 price tag!

Never got the chance to play Resident Evil 5 before? There you go. The whole game plus all DLCs for a VERY fair price. Also it runs on 60fps with 1080HD and really nice improvements on the textures. Really, really good remaster, worth your money.

This game its really worthy you time and cash the story is really good a remake from ps3 looks great at the ps4 version

Third time buying this game and I'm loving the improved visuals as well as the higher frame rate as it allows for a much smoother game-play. While yes these benefits can be had on the pc, that would require a steam account which has drm. I've had no issues with the game thus far and its the same exact game when it released except it includes all the added extras on the disc (no download code for dlc). All in all its a really great game and really fun to play especially with friends.

Greta game, I enjoyed it. But it felt as if it was lacking that punch that resident evil 4 had. But I enjoy the game and the co-op option on the game as well. At it's sales price, it is well worth the purchase price.

i will admit. i passed on this game when it released on ps3 b/c it got mixed reviews. i knew it wasn't a survival horror game but an action game, which i did not like. i wanted a survival horror RE game, not action. many yrs passed and i forgot about this game until i found a copy on ps4 about a month ago. i didn't even know capcom re-release this game for ps4. it is a remaster edition with all DLC included for only $20. i said "what the heck." for that price i can't complain. so i bought it, played it, and beat it. the game wasn't that bad as i thought it was and i enjoyed it. Yes it's not a survival horror game, its actually an action game. i knew this going in so i wasn't expecting much. this game isn't perfect. my number 1 complaint about this game is the partner system. i HATE my partner following me every inch of the way. she won't leave my side, she gets in my way, she steals my ammo and herbs, and she constantly needs my help and if she dies it's game over! i hate that!! having a partner is also the reason why this game isn't scary. throughout the game i say to myself how much better this game would be if Chris was alone. it would make the game much more scary, just like in the old school RE games, but NOOOO, capcom got his great idea to have a partner annoy me from start to finish. another major flaw, is the tank controls. i do not have issues w/tank controls. i actually dont mind it. tank controls work great in a survival horror game, but it DOES NOT WORK in an action game!!!!! how can capcom not know this?! why did they think tank controls would work in an action game?! why?! gee whiz!!! another issue i have is Chris' character design. he looks like the Hulk!! gosh what did he do to get that big?! dang!!! anyways...besides these major flaws i still enjoyed this game and i recommend RE fans play it. there are extra content and i also enjoyed them, esp the Chris and Jill DLC, that was awesome. i HOPE capcom fixes the RE franchise b/c imo they screwed up w/RE7, but that is another review i need to do ;)
