Super easy to get the item - it's also a fantastic gift

The Hills Have Eyes Hill Billy horror is sprinkled with Resident Evil elements to create a game that has nothing to do with Resident Evil as we've known it for over 20 years. I haven't played for long, but what I've seen so far makes me glad that a sale price combined with reward points got me this game for $8. You get a faceless character as you play first-person. You're Ethan, searching for his wife and getting stabbed, maimed and beaten from the very get. He can't fight much, so you keep getting attacked and hurt a lot. There's a bucket-load of gore as Ethan's anatomy is detached, reattached and restructured. That's pretty gross and far out in and of itself. I'm waiting to get my hands on a gun, hoping the game gets better and that Ethan doesn't continue to lose his body parts. It's kinda nauseating and ridiculous. I can't imagine how true RE fans can say they enjoyed this better than RE 4, 5 and 6. This is NOT Resident Evil at all. Resident Evil wasn't a sadistic blood bath. This just has familiar gameplay mechanics and controls. But I guess that's what happens when another studio is brought in to deal with something that was working just fine. Everything that was working from 1998 to today was shot to hell. Capcom, please get back to where you were. The RE2 remake was WAY better than this mess. This will likely go into the dust pile soon.

RE games have been pretty bad since 4 and 5, but things pick up again in 7. Got a great discount on this copy and would highly recommend. Great value and a lot of fun.

I hate horror games, and this one didn't disappoint.

This game can make you a little queasy at times, mostly from all the motion. But it's definitely creepy and a fun ride if you like these kind of horror games.
