The best game since Resident Evil 4. For the first time in the series, I felt truly creeped out and horrified when playing this game, especially since it's presented in first person view. Amazing graphics, fun gameplay, interesting mystery story, and great boss levels. Highly recommend!

I bought this gold edition of the game and it includes all add ons and additional story lines This game scared the crap out of me a few times. The game play is awesome in regular or vr modes Skip past easy and just go for normal mode if you don’t want limited access to your weapons

After the mediocre 5 and horrendous 6 this new resident evil brings back the exploration and dread of the earlier entries of the series. Definitely a must own for horror fans and resident evil fans. Just an awesome game all around

I've played this game in VR mode, so that is what I'm basing this short review off of. The game does a good job of being scary in the same way the first one did 2 decades ago. The VR actually adds to the experience and I don't think I will ever forget the dread I felt the first time I had to walk into the darkness. The controls work really good and the game does a good job of restricting your view as you move faster, keeping the camera from making me feel queasy. If you have PSVR and want to be scared, play this game. Made the purchase of the headset feel totally worth it.

Resident evil 7 changes the formula a bit from the action game style the series has been turning too to focus more on horror and this game shows capcom is still great at making horror games.

Scariest game yet. Great graphics, can't wait to play and get scared again.

Perfect game to start with the playstation VR. very scary and fun to play

Capcom went back to the basics with RE7 and ended up making my favorite game in the series. The story is great, the first-person perspective offers a new take on the gameplay, and the aesthetic is perfectly terrifying and upsetting.

Wow, this game pleasantly surprised me. This is a return to form, revitalized the entire RE series. Highly recommended to even those who are not fond of first person horror games, you won't regret it.

if your a fan of horror games, you need this game. this edition included dlc, vr is even more terrifying to play through. the price was great and over all has been entertaining

The first person perspective with a familiar resident evil feel. The story adds to the lore with a great voice cast. The visuals are amazing to look with realistic textures and lighting.

A true return to form for the Resident Evil franchise. Story is masterful; suspenseful and thrilling with plenty of scares. Gameplay is a step in the right direction for the franchise; innovative mechanics and improved combat. Graphics help to sell the feel of the game.

Nice change of pace from last few additions in the series. First person adds a nice new element to gameplay for the RE series. Enjoyed it for sure.

It departs from the traditional Resident Evil but that does not make it less of a great game. The story is engaging. The graphics are superb. Great game overall

Honestly, this game was fun and scary normally. Add in VR and it makes for a nightmare come to life. Great game if you just want to feel scared or get some Halloween vibes going.
