I was on the fence about trying this game until recently and I'm glad I finally gave it a shot because it is amazing. It reminds me a lot of the first Resident Evil where you're afraid to go around the corner or through a door because you don't know what's on the other side. They captured the survival horror and creepy atmosphere perfectly.

It scared the heck out of me at least 3 times where I jumped out of my seat. A very good play during the evening time. Good story line.

You will never be immersed so much in an environment as you are in VR Horror game. Resident Evil is the peak of the achievement so far.

If you miss the good old days of Resident Evil back on the PSone, then this is the game for you. They finally get away from the action games they've been making in this series since 4. This game felt so much like the original Resident Evil and it was so much fun. Interesting story, creepy setting, fun puzzles. Resident Evil is finally back to where it belongs.

Been a fan of the Resident Evil series for quite a while now. RE 2 & 4 being my favorites. But the series changed into action, and lost its horror roots. I'm glad to say, that RE 7 is back and better than ever. It's scary at times and still retains some action. Even better playing on the PSVR. Tho, I recommend you take breaks or you could get motion sickness.

This game is super scary and it scared the daylights out of me when I played it with VR. Definitely give this game a try! Must buy!

The good games in the series seem to fall between the bad. Resident Evil returns to it's roots with a new spin. You won't regret it!

The ONLY way to play this game is with your VR unit. It delivers a completely new experiences different from all previous versions.

Game deserves 9 out of 10. If your a resident evils fan and have vr, GET THIS. Be prepared to get scared as if it's the real thing.

I’ve always been a big fan of Resident Evil 1,2, and 3, and playing this game takes me back. It’s not completely like it but the puzzles, save room themes, creepiness, and addictive storylines are all there. This game is an incredible, spine-chilling experience in VR that goes on to prove that RE still tops in the horror genre of gaming.

I've already watched an entire walkthrough for this game on YouTube, so no surprises for me. However, looks to be one great experience that I can't wait to enjoy myself! The shipping was also really fast, and came much sooner than expected!

I've been playing the game exclusively on the PSVR and love it. I also have a Vive and Rift and have played well over 200 games across all three platforms and Resident Evil 7 is easily in the top 10. It's very impressive what Sony and Capcom have been able to accomplish compared to the more powerful Rift and Vive. VR PROS: - Game does not rely on tracked motion controls, which is a definite weak spot for the PSVR. - Plenty of VR comfort features if you're prone to simulator sickness - a big issue in games like this with artificial locomotion. - Much easier to line up head-shots in VR compared to just using the controller. - Great audio that really adds to the immersion. VR CONS: - Game does not use tracked motion controls. It's much more immersive when your hands are in VR, but given PSVR tracking limitations, I think this is a good thing for now (see above). If this game comes to the Vive after Sony's year of VR exclusivity is done, it would be incredible with room scale and tracked hand controls! - Textures are much more blurry in VR, and can sometimes take a few seconds to "load" and become less blurry (and I'm playing on a PS4 Pro), but for me it's a worthwhile trade-off for the added immersion.

The game is most awesome when played in VR mode. Really scary and makes you feel like you're losing a couple of limbs (in game)

Great game in vr mode! Get some good headphones with bass, sit in a dark room and be prepared! Great adventure horror VR game!

Mind blown! I can't describe it. You must buy the VR just for this game. I am amazed! I have jumped out of my seat so many times. Go Buy Now!!!!!!! It will seriously make you feel like you are actually in house. Also, love the "white cage lines" that are there to help with motion sickness. All VR games need this. No more motion sickness for me!

In all honesty, I think I have had five mini heart attacks while playing this game...and I love it! The story is awesome with a nice twist and it definitely takes it back to its roots where Resident Evil was about scaring you. The first person view adds to the tension and with headphones, you hear every creepy sound. Definitely get this game!

This game is the best game I ever played using the VR headset. I never been so scared playing any game before in my life. My only complaint are the lack of enemy types or enemy models in the game... Especially the Mold people probably could have more variations to make it more scary. You get used to seeing the same creature over and over.

After watching many streamers play this game and playing the demo, I decided to give it a shot. Great game and really takes a different spin on this franchise. The horror element and atmosphere is incredible and makes this a game to get. It's got VR mode so if you get a ps vr later , you can give it a shot in virtual reality. Great game!

So I've play one resident evil game and I believe that was IV of course this one is different but still very good. My main interest in this game is the horror and capcom does very well to deliver exactly what a horror fan gamer is looking for. I have not finished the game yet but I can say the story is great and the graphics are very nice.

Finally after so many years a resident evil that makes you jump out of your chair.. it really scares you.. love this game
