Resident Evil has always been one of my favorite franchises but it was no surprise that it was going down hill fast with its latest offerings. I was excited to hear that they were going back to their roots with survival horror and they did not disappoint! This is easily the best in the series.

This game keeps you on edge with some pretty great gameplay. The only con for me is the sprinting is like a jog.

Albeit brief, this is the Resident Evil I was hoping we'd get. It is very eerie and the developer did well to stay away from the predictable scares. They used the power of sound (or lack thereof), to entice scares. My only regret is that it seemed short, particularly if you do the speed run.

RE7 is an excellent return to form that both brings back what fans love about the original first few games, with the new first person perspective that increases any terror you may feel. This is honestly the first Resident Evil where I have legitimately felt scared. A definite recommendation.

Been playing resident evil since a kid and have to say im impressed by the res7. Amazing game all around

This is a great game to play at night with the lights off. The story is good, but not a lot of action.

I like all resident evil, and the game is very good. But I am very sad with best buy because I by with pre-order to receive the survival Pack and it didn't came with my game. I went to store for resolve my problem and they told that the code will be sending for my e-mail, but it never came.

RE7 is literally the scariest game ever developed in video game history......play this game on full 5.1 surrond sound at full volume and you will be having multiple heart attacks throughout the game play......please be advised that this game can cause one to have never ending nightmares.

We bought this game with high expectation and it didn't disappoint. Plus we can use it with our Play Station VR

This resident evil is much like resident evil 2 in the way where it is almost like one giant puzzle u have to figure out one thing before u can proceed to the next. The draw back is it is a one player game. Plus side is it still has content coming out the gives the game added incentives.

It did not think it was possible but they brought back the fear and excitement from when I first played resident evil game which was resident evil 2. The first person prescriptive, character design and acting really immerses you into the game. Hope to play this on the PS VR at some point.

This is a great Resident Evil game! The game is very interesting, fun to play, and very scary! Playing in VR really adds on to the experience and makes it even more scary, fun and enjoyable! I definitely recommend this game to Resident Evil fans and horror video game fans!

The game has you "on rails" for the most part but still a fun experience. Best played with the lights out!

This is a really good game a great way to return to its roots but i think it should be called something else

This is an excellent addition to the resident evil franchise. It definitely has its creepy and scary moments.

It brings resident evil back to its roots, so if you're a fan of the classic resident evil you'll love this.

This game was ok. The first half was great and extremely scary. The second half was just a linear shot to the end, no exploration. Also, this is a survival horror game and they take that seriously. I was always running out of ammo, health, etc. which is how these games are supposed to be but I didn't like it. Always running out of space in your backpack. No thanks.

Very different from the original but not is this fun. Creepy and suspenseful. Lots of fun for horror fans.

Resident Evil has always been one of my favorite series, and this game fits well into that. It has decent controls (the series has never had good controls), and the visuals are wonderfully creepy. The story isn't bad, but the atmosphere and pace make it a solid entry in the series.

This is a drastic change to the Resident Evil series but it's actually not bad. I figured this was just a move to cash in on Konami's PT demo but it actually turned out pretty well. It's initially very scary but that kinda dies down in the later half. Great game everyone should own.
