For myself, it's not easy to review only due to not having the time to play this game as I do with other games. From what I can tell from the few hours of playing, it seems like a very well designed game that gives you that frightening experience...I'm one to usually play a game with the lights dimmed, but with this game, dimming the lights is almost too intense

This series has been up and down/good to bad. Resident Evil 7 takes an entirely different approach to the series but one that provides a lot of the what the original gave the player. There are times of general fear and the rebooted story line is exactly what the series needed following RE:6. A great game to play in the dark; jump scares are spectacular.

good game. uses vr good. could be longer but overall not bad.

From the get-go it was one of the creepiest games I had played. Even until the final moments it was super scary. But it went from creepy to cheesy in about two seconds towards the end. So cheesy that I decided to trade it in. There is no way that I could play all the way through a second time.

Don't let any negative reviews scare you away. If you like a good scare this is your game. I have played many versions. No other game compares to this in vr. If is like taking your scariest movie and putting you in it.

Haven't cracked the seal yet but resident evil never disappoints me

The switch to first person, while at first seeming odd added a great sense of actually being in the game. In a horror game like resident evil, this is an amazing touch. This is my favorite in the series since 4.

An old classic with modern gameplay. Story begins to drag but finishes just in time. Pretty tough without any guide, a bit of backtracking here and there but follows an overall path. May replay in a year or two.

It is good to see RE going back to some of the original games, like code Veronica. This game is full of suspense, great visual effects and challenging, at least for me it was. I played at night and kept hearing stuff.

Probably one of the best horror games from recent memory. If you're too much of a pansy then you can skip out on this experience, otherwise enjoy the fright fest.
