This game is not like any of the other Resident Evil games. Not as many puzzles, shorter story line, not as scary as any of the others

I've never felt anxiety playing a video game...until now. It's absorbing and will freak out. Must play with surround sound, and lights out.

So, so game.. plays in dark screen most of time. Kind of weird game.

Many people are quick to judge because you aren't a trained police, military, or special forces soldier/ police member. You are a normal untrained civilian. You are put into this situation, that it is why you are in first person, to get an immersive gameplays experience, as if you are the one playing the game yourself. No fixed cameras as other previous games, in which you can look around the corner and know what is coming. Except in this game it is not the case, although you can sneak and look around the corner. The game combines elements of skill in quick thinking, would you rather be stealthy and try to evade or try to fend of the enemies. As in say RE3 were you had the choice to flee or fight. Now the combat, again the main character, Ethan, is an untrained soldier/police/special forces. I must remind you. So don't expect combat to be relatively easy as in past games. It is expected that you will die a lot. As for ammo it isn't as rare as once thought to be. But use it wisely. For you may use it on say the wrong situation. And then be faced with a boss with no ammo. The game is intense, it does have jump scares. It's like a thriller, in terms of being intense, at least for me I do not scared easily, in the time of saying being chased by through the house and you can't really fight, so best is to run. Also the decisions you do in the game affect the outcome of the story. So you can go back and play the game multiple time, which is too sweet. Hopefully my review has helped you, if you were having doubts. It is a real good game, definitely recommend!

Ok but not as good as the original. I am a big fan of the original RE and not big on FPS's, and this game misses its original feel of RE.

I dont know what it is but this game did not win me over. Great reviews and all but it was nor for ME. I will be returning this game

If only I could get my money back. This game is bad, and That does not mean good. It's cheap so you get what you pay for.

This game is decent first person game. A little puzzling, but once you get the hang of it, it can be a bit addictive to play.

This one didn't seem to be made originally for VR. They added it after the fact.

Just kind of eh, really didn't feel like Resident Evil, probably not for the die hard fan of the franchise

A little bit too far off the resident evil plot. I haven't got to try it in vr. That may make up for it.

Bestbuy sent me resident evil village. I ordered biohazard because it was a vr game. I didnt realize until my son opened it. He still wants the game but it is not what i paid for!

I bought it for the VR but it’s not a VR game. I wasn’t too happy about that.

it's a nice game but, doesn't look that good with the VR so just a regular game not VR need it

Good game, although slow pace... graphics are good and realistic, just not enough action.

Yes, we've all seen how much the Resident Evil franchise has changed over the years. Going from survival horror to a straight up action game with RE6. The game wasn't bad but it wasn't an RE game. For a game that promised a return to its roots this one failed to deliver on what made the first 3 games classics.

Scary game, yes. But nothing like the previous RE Games. For me this game sucks.
