The game is alright until you start to feel dizzy,have to stop and then play again, alot of people are getting dizzy while playing re7!

This game was horrible it was strictly for the vr resident evil fans like my self would agree it was short too 6hrs 64$ for 6 hrs

My son bought the game and finished the "story" mode in just a couple of hours. He was a bit disappointed

Same old stuff and VERY short. Finished the story line in 7 hours. That's almost $10.00 per hour. I am trading it in and taking a loss at this point. I don't even want it on my shelf.

The RE games had been going downhill for a few games, but this game really brought back the greatness. It's a great gothic setting and playing in VR makes it all the better

Resident Evil VII is crap. It felt like completely different franchise. Not at all like the original, or even Resident Evil 4.

Broken game case scratched game, will not be using curbside pick up again.

Resident Evil is back! If you're a fan of the early resident evil games, you'll definitely like this one. Most fans (including me) didn't like 5 or 6. They both strayed from classic survival horror and focused more on action. Revelations 1 and 2 were definitely better than 5 and 6 (not saying much lol). However, all 4 of those games didn't really instill fear and tension like the early games. I'm glad RE7 is a return to form. Capcom listened to the fans and gave us what we want. This game is SCARY. The early RE games had occasional jump scares and intense moments. However, this game takes it to another level. My two biggest flaws with this game are: the length and enemy types. The length of this game varies depending on difficulty level, exploration, and the amount of times you restart a save point. It took me 12 hours to beat on normal difficulty. Most people beat it in 8-10 hours. I'm just glad this game has DLC plans. The enemy types aren't as diverse as I was hoping. These two flaws are minor compared to the many things this game does right. Bravo Capcom! I can't wait for the next game.

My initial impressions of RE7 were not at all positive. It looked merely like an attempt to cash in on the popularity of indie horror games like Outlast, and frankly, seemed nothing like Resident Evil. I couldn't have been more wrong. It's especially worth noting that while the twisted Baker family make up the majority of the game's marketing (so much so that you might believe the majority is comprised of the hide and seek gameplay popular in many modern horror games), they are not the game's primary threat, which I won't spoil. Ultimately, RE7 is a true Survival Horror game in the vein of RE1-0, replete with combat, boss fights, item management, limited ammo, open-ended exploration (and actual backtracking!), and cryptic puzzles. It's the classic RE formula through and through, just from a new perspective, and skeptical fans (like myself) owe it to themselves to give it a chance.

Leaving a negative review before you have played the game shows a personality of a hater normally I wouldn't even say anything but I'm a 42 year old gamer I luv alll games I own both Xbox and ps they both offer something different and I happen to luv psvr I can only hope it will last and grow because I can't take a mortgage out to buy a super computer for the other 2 but I see this nonsense all the time now haters going off on battlefield because there COD fanboys and vise versa spoiled gamers nitpicking the heck out of every game and system they most of the time read about and haven't even tried now I can't promise the new resident evil will be great from the demo I have high hopes I'll say that but to leave a negative review for a game that's not even out well that's a new one ok you don't like resident evils changes well I disagree I enjoyed all the games before and after and I hope I will enjoy this one I'm sorry but to keep a title alive it has to chage or it gets stale Geers of war is a great example after 2 I took a few years off because every new game was the same it needs to change if you long for the old style of resident evil then go play it I miss part 5 so just 2 days ago bought it again I don't know maybe I'm wrong here I grew up playing pong and had rabbit ears now ppl argue about what's better hd or blue ray lol wow and don't get me wrong I'm sure my own 5 year old son will grow up a spoiled gamer I got him a 360 when he was 2 when I should of started him with the Atari 2600 so he would grow up with appreciation anyway good luck with living to hate I'm sure that will work out for ya

Great game. Really brought the horror back to the franchise.

This has to be one of the best PlayStation VR games out. I was never into resident evil but since I already owned the PSVR I decided to purchase this since there's not a whole lot out on VR right now. I'm glad I did! The VR really puts you inside the game. I didn't get any motion sickness at all and played the entire game in VR. Took me about 12 hours to play it all the way through which for a VR game is pretty good.
