Excellent game. Not really scary. highly recommend

I loved this game. It's best in VR. VR also makes it easier to play and feels way more realistic. My kids loved watching me play (ages 15 and 17). We had some good scares, while making funny moments. Loved it.

Awesome horror, suspense game you’re love to play.

After Resident Evil 6, any change to the series was welcome. Resident Evil 7 was absolutely great. It's a breath of fresh air to the series and if you have a PSVR it makes the game even better and more immersive.

Initially going into this game I was a bit skeptical. The trailers and some of the advertisements made it look like the flavor of the month first person horror game. However, upon playing the game I found it to still retain the over all Resident Evil tone and style but reinvigorated with a new perspective and more focus on scares. There is still combat and I'd say there is only a little bit less than in the original Resident Evil and there is a fun variety of weapons for you to use. The game is a good length, about 8-12 hours for your first playthrough depending on difficulty and interest in finding collectibles and offers nice replay value with a hard difficulty mode, collectibles, and unlockable items after each playthrough.

Just like they did with Resident Evil 4, capcom has taken a big risk but it has paid off again. Terrifying first person horror with Resi7. If you can deal with the fear, go out and buy this.

It took a little bit getting used to the first person perspective, but, Capcom did a tremendous job. RE7 is tremendous, scary and has a high reply value. If you enjoy survival horror games this is for you.

Loved this game. Had moments where I was really scared and/or startled. Had the feel of the original. Not a fan of first person games but it didn't bother me playing this. Only regret was playing it through before my VR headset arrived. I think it would have been much more fun in VR with the surprise element. VR was a little slow and glitchy.

As a long time fan of the franchise, I was a little apprehensive about the change to first person, but the game exceeded expectations. Very challenging and fun. The DLC is just as fun.

I am sure just as many others were, I was very excited for this to be released. Very good game, excellent graphics, and does have its moments of scare, and gore!! If you don't own this game yet, Buy it Now!!

Pretty good game for any gamer that wants to freaked out even just a little bit. Great atmosphere. Not too long or too short a game. It also is probably the best PS4 VR game available. Worth the price easily

This game was on sale so I purchased it and I must say the graphics and gameplay are smooth and easy to control

I thought Resident Evil 6 was a low point in the series, overall great production value but very similar to all the others. This is a fresh new take and has the added VR component, would definitely recommend

Resident Evil 7 was a great play. The one complaint I would have is some of the scenes for me were too dark to solve the riddle or puzzle in the rooms to advance in the game. Other than that the jump scares are truly unpredictable the first play through. I was startled on more than one occasion. Really fun game. I did not play the VR verison

I have been waiting for this game to come out. I am totally satisfied with the purchase. The game wneh played with the PSVR is totally immersive! The video and sound quality really puts you inside the game.

Not one of my favorite RE games, but it does bring back the horror aspect of the game.

Bought this for my 14 year old. She really likes going to the vr arcade so I thought I'd get one for the house. She enjoys it as much as going to the arcade. A large area is a must for this.

To be fair, I love RE4. But what I didn’t like was how Resident Evil became an action game. This game brings back the horror at last!

Resident Evil 7 has no hiding or heavily stealth-focused gameplay, contrary to what its first-person horror style might lead some to believe. It’s still a Resident Evil game, and you still need to shoot enemies to kill them or else they’ll continue to roam around where you left them, waiting to kill you the next time you backtrack on by.

I'm a huge horror fan so I definitely had a blast playing this. If Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Evil Dead had a videogame baby it would be Resident Evil 7.
