It is good to see a Resident Evil game return to the suspenseful and puzzle based game type that made the franchise so successful initially. Really enjoyed it.

So far I have only gone 15 minutes into it and almost $#!+ my pants. If you like to get sacred, then this is the one for you

I do not scare easily. At haunted attractions during Halloween, I rarely even get startled. This game had me screaming like a schoolgirl 10+ times (jump scares).

Fun game, but story mode is pretty short. If you dont want to play online, might look elsewhere.

Not to spoil much but the protagonist has ties to RE2. Going into the game knowing that will help make sense of the situation you are thrown in. It's been several years since Capcom made a Resident Evil that was scary. They did a great job with RE7. People wanting a third person perspective game; the gameplay would not work. Items are really tucked in all kinds of places that would not be easily visible in third-person. Items don't flash or flicker like in past games. Everything seamlessly blends into the environment realistically. It still uses tank controls, but they feel more natural in first person perspective

Resident Evil 7 was so much fun! Perfect when you turn off all the lights and play in the dark. The first person view was an excellent direction for the horror factor!!!

I'm not sure how it is on a regular PS4, since I'm playing on the PS4 Pro but the game still looks remarkably well in VR. I like it better than Until Dawn-Rush of Blood.

I was a bit worried about the first person view but after a few hrs i realized it really changes the whole atmosphere of the game. So much more creepy and raw.

This is one of the best Resident Evil games ever. Has great replay value for collecting items and achievements. A bunch of scares in this one.

It is different than other RE games I have played but I really liked it. I also played parts of it in VR on my PS 4 Pro but frankly it freaked me out lol. Recommend buy

This game starts off strange but quickly gets back into what makes Resident Evil at it's core. Made me go back and replay the first 3 RE games as well - it's that good!

This game is one of my favorite Resident Evil games. VR mode is amazing. With VR mode on it makes it feel like you are in the game. Very impressed and very satisfied.

Been a fan of Resident Evil since the first one. Didn't care much for the 6th one. This was a fantastic game. Scary game. Great example of what games can be like in VR.

One of the best in the series...regardless if the story line is different than any of the prior releases. Excellent graphics, good game play and the mood is fantastic.

We like this game so far, however when we play it in VR mode we get super motion sick ☹️. It’s a bummer because it’s really cool in VR mode and super scary!!!

Got this to try with the psvr. It is very immersive and creepy playing in vr. Aiming is so much easier using the vr helmet versus a standard controller.

Resident Evil 7 is a homage to the classic Resident Evil putting yourself in the terrifying environment that the Resident Evil series is known for. Highly recommended!

Very scary in VR, but the only way I recommend to play if you can handle it. With a controller is just as fun if VR gives you motion sickness.

Wow!! The game is intense!! Messed up! Comes highly recommended. Definitely try the VR Levels.

Nice addition to the RE franchise. Feels detached to the series because it doesnt link to many characters or plots from the main series but it fun and has some scares
