Resident Evil 7 Biohazard Standard Edition - Xbox One [Digital] fun game & grand kids like it.

Great game. Great price! Fans of the genre and franchise wont be dissapointed.

Its the new Resident evil 7 and a new way to play Scary and fun

This game brought back that nostalgic feeling of resident evils in the past. The 4th was my favorite for its game changing gameplay and customization. The next two became repetitive and boring. This 7th installment actually terrified me to play and kept me going until I had unlocked every secret/achievement in the game. VR is also a treat.

This game is a refreshing return for the resident evil series. This came is not an all out battle, but a twisted story to walk through.

I NEVER miss a resident evil game. Capcom is my favorite game developers and they almost never let me down. This is no exception.

Resident Evil games started out as a survival horror series, but later morphed into shooter games. This feels like a re-boot and back to being a survival game again, but with all the benefits of modern graphics, coding and story telling. I forgot the way the earlier RE games made me feel (anxious and freaked out), and this brings it back in spades.

Graphics are definitely the highlight here. Pretty short play thru. I beat it on Normal difficulty in around 11 hours. Complete lack of enemies in the amount of encounters and type. There is maybe 6 different main one's you fight/run from;not including bosses of course. The achievement/Trophy hunt will keep you busy if that's your thing. Capcom is hoping the free upcoming DLC will keep you from trading it in. We will see.

RE 7 is different than other games in this series, but still feels like a good RE game. The controls are solid, graphics are great, and the game play is classic RE, the story a little messed up but that's what you would expect from this series. Overall this marks a very promising return after the dismal entry that was the game before this one.

Birthday gift for my nephew. Although I will borrow it & play through after he beats it. I havent heard such rave reviews about a game, in a WHILE. This will probably win Game of the Year - doesnt matter that it just came out early in 2017. Went into the store & picked it up this time - even though my preference is BestBuy.com now. Thank you.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. She has been asking for it. Can’t wait to see her excitement when she opens it.

Amazing game that goes back to the original feel of RE, especially remake, in which you dont know what to expect. The switch to first person view had me worried at first, but it definitly enhanced the game quite a bit. If you like any kind of media that keeps you in the edge of your seat, this is a must experience item you will not regret.

Felt like a creepier replaying of classic Resident Evil with great graphics and horrifying VR support. Interesting story reminiscent of RE4 and enough gameplay and exploration to keep you busy for at least a week. With more content and game modes coming out soon, it's definitely worth at least a rental if you're looking for a horror game.

I love the resident evil franchise and although this is diffferent than the others in that its first person view and a somewhat different storyline it was super fun to play. I was scared playing at night with all the creepy sounds and scenery. It took me 12 hours to beat it but also has some free DLC. I highly recommend it.

I've played almost every RE game to date. I played the demo and instantly pre-ordered. The story is a slight departure from the originals, but it's still pretty good. The graphics are a little weird at times. Like for instance, If I start walking towards certain rooms, those rooms seem to be well lit...Once inside, the room becomes dark and, there's like a flashlight effect that seems to focus on the spot in which you're looking. Maybe it's just the XB1 version, who knows? All in all, I am enjoying RE7!

Long-time RE fan and I was way annoyed about the switch to 1st person. It actually ended up not bugging me that much though. The whole thing still feels very Resident Evil and is a lot of fun to play. I'm really impressed they managed to go back to a slower, scarier, feel without it being a bit boring, I didn't think they'd be able to.

Changing to a first person perspective was a big move for this franchise, but it retains the feel of what made the first few games fun. Ammo is relatively scarce making each encounter meaningful. Limited inventory, familiar weapons, and a creepy setting all bring back the original RE feeling. If I have a complaint it's that it isn't all that scary. A few jump scares and overall creepy, but I didn't feel a real impending sense of dread like I did with Dead Space. Definitely a worth while pick up.

I haven't gotten very far in the game yet, but so far the graphics are great, it certainly has that Resident Evil creepy vibe that we've all come to love. I do miss playing the game in third person, first person isn't bad at all, but for Resident Evil, I just prefer third person (probably because that how all the others were, so that's what I had grown accustomed to.) In a perfect world, you'd be able to choose between the 2 different views, but I'm still having a great time with the game.
