thought this has multi-player I guess it does not Seems a bit scary for the kids

I really believe this game has brought life into the franchise. It's fun, scary, and unpredictable. If you're not use to play games that are set up in person view, it will take you awhile to get use to it. My advice is to take breaks, it's tiring. I was wanting for this game for months, I honestly think it was worth the wait.

Amazing game and the scariest game beside original Silent Hill..feels like I am playing Resident Evil 1 ...first person makes it scarier and when the ghouls pop out at you...well..it is enough to scare the living daylights out of you..could not play for long periods of time...as you really feel your trapped in this crazy house...highly recommend this game...it will be a classic for sure!!! does deliver in terms of getting you out of your chair and freaking you out

You have to think even more even though they gave you clues! It's soo suspenseful So many jump scares ! I love it

Great new direction for RE. It is just as haunting as its previous incarnations.

I've been a fan of Resident Evil for years now, and was both extremely excited, and hesitant about this game due to the complete change in gameplay from the previous entries. But I was amazed to see that I was thouroughly obsessed with this game from start to finish. I could barely put it down. Worth every penny.

Overall this is a great game and a solid entry into the resident evil series. My only real problems with it are that it is a little short, replay ability is lacking, and there is a distinct lack of connection to the past resident evil series games. While it is clear that this takes place in the resident evil universe, the storyline doesn't connect to any other RE in any meaningful way. Otherwise, it's a great game and clearly stands on its own.

I love the Resident Evil series. The last couple games have been very blah. RE7 for sure takes you back in time to the Style of RE 1 and 2. Lots of puzzles, not very many enemies, but the enemies you do encounter are pretty strong. I recommend this game for sure, but buyer beware, it is not a shooter, it's a SURVIVAL game. You will spend a lot of time just running around gathering items for survival. It's kind of short. My only gripe about it, but a great game.

Not the best resident evil game but they have returned to their roots of what made them great in the first place.

Great visuals and decently easy controls. Game play really surrounds the player. Perfect survival horror style game. Some really unique mechanics integrated into the story. The only complaint is that the story is a little short but there is dlc to extend your playtime so easily remedied. Overall amazing game.

I have been a fan since PS1 days; however, I felt the series lost its way with Resident Evil 6. This game truly goes to its roots by giving the feelings of fear and tension by putting the player in the first person prospective. This is a must buy for fans of the series, and for fans of horror games in general.

This game is great. The best of the series. I cant wait till Microsoft can finally port this on to VR too

I was skeptical after the horrible RE6 and Lackluster RE5. Highly Recommend and love the new controls.

Very creepy atmosphere. Gameplay is pretty decent. Like playing in first person. Best RE game in a while.

This game is good but definitely does not feel like a RE game. In fact, I would say that it feels like a first person generic horror (that is Good) ripping off some game mechanics from the Resident Evil franchise. I say next time just do it in third person that's what RE has been at its best and should continue that way. Do I recommend t? Yes, but the third person and story doesn't feel like an extension/sequel to the RE franchise at all.

Very scary game, it made me jump a few times. Check it out, but don't play it by yourself in the dark.

Have about 4 hours in and have really enjoyed playing this game. Been a fan since the 1st Resident Evil and I am happy to say it's the best since RE4. Only concern is that it may be a little short. But hopefully there will be enough extra downloadable content to enjoy in the future.

Edge of your seat gaming, This game has a definite twist on the typical "Resident Evil" story line. I'm really liking the change, only a few hours into the game, but its the first game in a long time which I've had to check myself. Scary, Exciting, and your heart is always racing.

I saw a YouTuber play it so i decided to grab it. I wanted to play a resident evil game.

xbox one version. This game is utterly terrifying. The game takes a different path than previous installments and becomes a 1st person action horror game. Stuck in basically a haunted house setting the game will not disappoint with scares. No VR support for the xbox version.
