I saw a YouTuber play it so i decided to grab it. I wanted to play a resident evil game.

xbox one version. This game is utterly terrifying. The game takes a different path than previous installments and becomes a 1st person action horror game. Stuck in basically a haunted house setting the game will not disappoint with scares. No VR support for the xbox version.

Resident Evil 7 brings the much needed scare back into the franchise. This game is a lot of fun and will scare the pants off of just about anyone. My only complaint with this game is that the campaign can easily be completed in under 4 hours. Highly recommend this game though.

I am new to the Resident Evil series but an avid adventure and FPS game player. I am only halfway through the game but find it addicting and fun. The first person point of view is excellent and you NEVER know what is around the next corner! I need more shotgun ammo........

This is one of the best survival horror games I've ever played it keeps you in a constant state of tension and apprehension never giving away when that next real scares going to come at edge-of-the-seat excitement is just amazing it's very heart pounding and very visceral

This game went back to its roots. Very eerie and dark environment. A must own game.

The graphics are really good the horror sense it's one of the best ever for the RE saga

This game has made a lot of head way of going back to its roots. Its not a lame shooter like Resident Evil 5 was on the PS3. This games will scare you which is what every Resident Evil game should do!

For obvious reasons. This game is pretty terrifying and incredible, all at the same time. Ties into the rest of the series very well, and you'll understand why later in the game. Turn the volume way UP, turn the lights down very LOW, and bring a change of underwear.

Resident Evil hasnt been that good when it comes to the last couple of entries in the series but number 7 is good luck as it gets back to its roots. Graphics are great and gameplay is flawless. If you like the 1st couple in the series you will love this new one.

I just started this game and haven't gotten the hang of it yet... I'm a big fan of the series... I think a manual or some cheats may help my progress...

This is a great "team work" strategy game even though it is only one player.

i been a RE fan since the PSX and i had my doubts since this was going to be a first person shooter and RE5 / RE6 where straight up action games! This RE is Amazing! it makes you jump, run & panic all at the same time! if your a horror fan get this now~

This game is SCARY! Almost from the beginning you are on your toes. Lots of fun to play at night in the dark! ... If you want to jump and scream. It has the classic RE puzzles and challenges, but the "infected" are unlike you've seen before. Great play!

This game is more oriented towards people who are experienced in resident evil (more than the first game) and is a huge upgrade from the unloved and monstrosity of a game resident evil 6. I would recommend this game to fans of the series of zombies.

I'm still in progress of finishing the game but I have to admit I was surprised at how well capcom was able to go back to its roots. The game has amazing graphics and everything looks lifelike. The first person camera/dim lighting definitely bring you back to RE1 with the horror feel. My only thing so far I feel like the bosses could be a little harder when you have to face them.

Great sense of dread and terror in the first few hours of the game. Never feels too hard and it's always fair. Controls are a little clunky at the beginning but once you get used to them it. Classic Resident Evil style puzzles and resource management.

This is like the first Resident Evil, but with another perspective. Not only this game is scary, also you will manage your inventory, run from enemies, fight with a lot of weapons, and avoid being seen by the Bakers and monsters to survive this trip.
