The games aren't bad an run amazing on the switch 2. Re9 is arguably one of the best resident evil games, re7 runs at a locked 60 on the switch 2, and re8 runs at a targeted 60fps with some frame dips here and there in the outside areas. All 3 games look comparable to the ps5 version with some minor visual differences. Re9 also runs great and targets 60fps. It mostly stays at 60 during the Grace sections but sometimes stays around 40-50 frames during Leon's sections. You don't notice the frames being in the 50-60 range in handheld mode during the Leon sections because vrr smoothes it out. The game does hit that 60fps mark most of the time overall. I have not fully replayed the game since the 1.2.0 update launched, but the update reportedly made the frame rate more stable and it improved the hair. On my first playthrough before the updates, the game's use of dlss makes it look close to the ps5 version and the game looks better on switch 2 than xbox series s. If you want these games portably, I would 100% recommend it to anyone. The games look at run great and were well optimizedfor the switch 2. I would give the re generation pack 5 out of 5 stars. However, the only reason I'm giving this review 1 star is because Best Buy did not give me my preorder bonus. I was supposed to receive a code for the Grace Apocalypse outfit but I did not. I also called customer support and the store but nobody knew anything about the preorder bonus. They thought I was trying to buy a game or get a geeksquad membership. Despite multiple customer service members saying that I wiuld receive the code in an email, they only sent me a 1 week subscription to geeksquad or some sort of best buy membership. The AI assistant was just as bad, if not worse because it couldn't tell me anything except my order status. The 1 star review is not about the games at all and those would receive 5 out of 5 stars. The 1 star review is for the horrible customer service and Best Buy not providing the preorder bonus code despite them telling me they would email me the code. If you are trying to only get the bare minimum of items that you ordered and don't mind horrible customer service where everyone, including the AI assistant has no idea what they are doing or what anything is, then I would recommend you make the purchase at Best Buy. I ended up keeping my purchase because it is hard to come by unless you want to pay inflated prices, but I still have not received the code for the Grace Ashcroft Apocalypse outfit.

Best buy tho dropped the ball. Pre ordered the game. Went up the day it was released to find out they had copies behind the desk but not mine! I have never preorder something through a vendor and not gotten on the day of the release. I will be definitely sticking with Game Stop when it comes to games. Also the manager Mike at the Erie PA location is VERY RUDE. Talking about my dead mother. Filed a complaint through the chat and never herd back smh
